most of us can get laid any time we want. In the moment it might be the sex, but I would never say I came to the hobby because I was lacking in the sexual dept. outside of it. The friendships formed with some people, could have never been possible without fkin them for money though, so for that I am grateful. I have friends here who I know truly care about me, my family, and my future success.

At one point I worked full time at the Hospital. ( The OR) I still fill in as needed

Honestly, a big part of it is that I'm a lazy dater. I'm not a fan of guys my age at all, they're too full of themselves and aren't willing to be shown how to please a woman, or treat her with much respect, for that matter. It's not totally their fault, I know. They're just young and don't know any better. That doesn't mean I want to deal with it though. And you just can't beat a "Monday at 3?". Done, planned, off you go. I hate being stood up, and you would be shocked how many people (men and women) who are casually dating act like huge flakes. No thank you. I've found that I more often leave the hobby world happy with my "date" than a civie one, and it has nothing to do with the money.  

I'm also not exactly great at working for other people. I tend to work best in bursts, and vacation time hasn't quite caught on yet here in the states. This gives me the opportunity to be my own boss, while I save the capital for a more main stream endeavor. I have the opportunity to make good money, rest when I need, plan for my future, and do it all on my own terms. That is something that very, very few people in their early 20s can say, and sometimes I have to pinch myself I feel so lucky.  

Less than a year ago, I was just like the rest of my friends, lost and wondering what the hell I was going to do with my degree with no one hiring and no money to relocate to where the jobs were. Now, I seem to be the only one who's grown as a business person and can say they have a clear, achievable plan for the future. This business has taught me a lot in a short amount of time, about a huge variety of things. Even about myself. And I think that's why I keep working. Every day is a new day, with something new to learn, if you only just let it happen.  

Plus, a girl has needs y'all!

Ditto! I have met people that I never would have had the opportunity otherwise, had it not been for this profession. I have formed some true friendships over the years, & have met some outstanding individuals.

i tend to be a very shy person.  nervous meeting new people, shy about exploring the world outside of my comfort zone, etc.  providing has taught me to be more confident in myself, and has given me many opportunities to visit new places, meet new people, and make new friends that i likely would never have made before.  i also enjoy getting to spend more time with my family than any 9-5 could afford.
