I'm not really referring to the "massage parlors" that offer "extra" services but more the Asian agencies that advertise through the internet and have girls reviewed here on TER. So my question is this: are the girls working there of their own free-will or have they been trafficked?
I have never used one of these agencies yet, and I'd have some moral qualms if the girls were forced to work there against their will. Any insight from hobbyists/providers would be greatly appreciated.
and they were very happy to be here in the US working at massage parlors rather than back in Korea eking out a hard life there.
who tell me of brutal conditions back home. One quietly asked to meet me outside the AMP and pay her directly for the encounter. Why? Because she was saving her money to bring her neice to America. It was her and her sister's dream to have her neice be an American!
Go figure, with our current POTUS appologizing for America, basically telling everyone who will listen just how really bad and unjust we are, there are people literally still dying just to get here.... makes ya wonder.
Mr Fisher, I have to say, most of the women I've met would echo your sentiments word for word.
good call.
I have been to many AMPS and have spoken to many of the providers who work at them.
I constantly see these girls moving from place to place at their own free will. I know of several who used their hard earned cash to go to school, and leave the business. Others support their families abroad. A US dollar goes a long way in Korea and China.
Recently, there were a couple of providers from the Ca AMP scene that are now working in NY. I have seen them leave NY to work in other states too.
In the years that I have been going to AMPS, I only knew of one who complained that she had a debt to pay off.
Now, don't get me wrong... I am not saying that trafficking does not happen, because it does. I am saying that I have seen very little evidence that it is widespread and prolific. I say this with 5 years of experience of going to these places, chatting with the girls, and mamasans.
The media is to blame for sensationalizing and blowing the subject out of proportion in their feeble attempt to sell newspapers and shock TV viewers. They have no concern for the girls, only their bottom line.
LE uses the trafficking excuse in an attempt to justify their waste of taxpayer money to bust AMPS whenever they can.
If you do suspect there is trafficking, just stay away, which is what I would do.
Lets see, Swine flu, prostitution, trafficing and female slavery. So much is blown out of proportion its incredible. Is it going on, sure. But not in the avenues we travel. Usually its done away from our hobbying activities, so you would never see it. Relax, do your homework and enjoy the lifestyle for pete's sake and that is St. Peter too......
I once had a cat named Bootzie. I miss that cat.
You wouldn't happen to have white paws would you?
Maybe. Or Maybe not!
But the real question is it prevelant throughout the industry? Of course not.
Look, any woman being held against her will for any reason is bad, but to avoid the whole category because of the potential of a single women being held against her will is not a valid reason.
Hiya Kern. I have thought of this as well, kind of an icky feeling. I really do hope that is not the case and the are treated well and are there because they want to be...who knows, sad but true. When i am in the nail salon i often wonder if any of the gals there work in an AMP, some of them are really cute. I had a massage while doing my nails, and i was getting pretty aroused just from that!! I love those hot little asians too
Back in the days when I first started doing this I worked at a few Asian agencies mainly because I didn't know much about this business. Another reason I worked at Asian agency in the beginning is because regular American agency would not hire me unless I had a reference from other agency and they recommended me to work at Asian agency for few month and come back, which I did.
Although it was my own decision to be in AA, I must say that working conditions were terrible compared to being an independent. Work hours are odd (sometimes they would wake me up at 4am for a call.) I was non-stop working for hours (5-10 clients on a given day) , constantly on a road to do outcall . Some agency often takes more than half what we earned. Clients tend to be abusive and less appreciative than who would pay over $400.
All in all, I would never go back. I think that most girls working at AA stay there because of the language problem.
^^^ Very informative response. I was worried that the girls that worked there were forced to do so against their will. I had been watching those MSNBC documentaries about human trafficking. As long as these girls choose to work at an Asian agency, then I guess it is their choice.
let's not forget that victims of human trafficking not only end up in prostitution. They are victimized in many other ways, working in whatever they can get, maybe little shops, cleaning, washing cars, ..... for miserable salaries that they have to give back to pay a debt way too large. Many have no choice as they have been threatened with their families back home getting killed, and that happens. this comes to mind sometimes when I see with this poor girl (or guy) who looks like hasn't slept in days and is barely standing to dry my car. bottom line we live in a cruel world and all we can do is our little part of good (I tip the "drier" very well maybe hoping will pay off a bit earlier, am gentle and considerate and wish him/her good luck)
I know that sexual slavery is way worse, devaluing and traumatizing, but just want to bring up the point that "slavery" happens in other sectors we feel, as a society, very comfortable using.
I am sure many of the people raising hell against sex industry for this reason, totally ignore, in their own blindness, the car drier or home aid
