MSNBC did a special on high end prostitution. The special was hosted by Melissa Gilbert. She did a good job of researching and reporting on every aspect of that end of providing.
Looks like the MSN special is more designed to feed the sterotypes of prostitution, that is a business filled with pimps and trapped providers. Too much of the business is what the show detailed, that is why it is imperative to ethical hobbyists to avoid patronizing that side of the business.
I just finished watching an MSN two hour special report on Vegas pimps and prostitution.
The show followed the sting operation, the arrest and the conviction of many pimps, street and casino walkers and internet escort girls.
I say congratulations because none of US were guests on the show.
Very sad... They took the lowest of the lowest. No screening process there and so many junkies and that poor 7 month pregnant girl. How about that VITO girl who steels from clients... Wow, I felt very good about my life after watching that and very blessed.

I will never understand the pimp thing. I guess that takes a particular mindset all around to be able to wrap your arms around that shit lifestyle whether male or female.
The pregnant lady that you mention that was caught was unfortunate in many ways. I was happy to see she was given a second chance with probation. It was interesting to witness a woman who did NOT take advantage of the client.
How bout the "VETO" that you mention ... "Vice Enforcements Top Offenders" with fifty arrests and still going strong got only probation as well.
(I misspelled Veto as Vito like an Italian dude lol!!)
And she looked so beat up by life in general had been in the game for 8 years, went into drugs, started with a pimp, had a baby gave it up for adoption... How does one move out of such a life.
The one I felt most sad for and wanted to hug was the pregnant girl. She seemed like a nice honest chick.
The pimp thing... They prey on weaker women and brain wash them and make them fall for them in the first place, then I think it becomes kind of the stockholm syndrome. Not an expert it's just my guestimation.
I am married to a lady a that ran away from a very abusive home situation at the age of 16. She ended up in Los Vegas. She couldn't get an legal job for fear of being sent back home as the streets were better than home. She started to street walk on the strip. A local pimp took an interest and gave her a place to stay, feed her and kept other pimps from messing with her for most of her earnings for prostituting. She drank heavily and dabbled with other harder drugs to be able to cope with her self hatred.
This continued until she was 21 when she met a lady who was where she was and got her away from her pimp and got her a job at a small strip club she owned. She provided after work. The strip club owner insisted she get her GED. She felt a sense of pride in her first real accomplishment in her life but shortly after she was busted for possession. She lost her job at the strip club and was ordered to drug rehab program. The program stuck and she moved to a different state. to start a new life.
She couldn't get a job that would pay her bills so returned to escorting and stripping as it was all she knew. But she stayed off of the drugs. She started to make real money as she was good at it. It started to make her feel powerful to see guys trow a days wage just to do her. She started to go to collage as she like how getting her GED felt. She graduated in the top 10% of her class.
She escaped the streets. She had help though. First, a kind lady got her away from her pimp. Then LE made her face her drug use. She put in lots of hard work in order to make it stick. The streets are escapable but only if someone gives them an out and they really want out. My wife still has issues from her past that haunts her and her lack of self esteem is still an issue. I am proud of her and wish she could see herself the way I see her. I love her.
I too was homeless and I to worked my way out of the streets. I was not as bad off as I was not addicted to drug nor had a pimp so it was not quite the life of the VETO you described. Walmart and McDonald's was my way out. I am now quite well off but I am lucky. I try now to be the one who helps others to beat the streets. I have had many failures but I have had couple who took the opportunity and ran with it. The streets are escapable with hard work on the part of the one on the streets.
P.S. Alias used to protect my wife.
but such a very small percentage are able to want it bad enough to achieve it. I have faith in humanity and always believe that if someone wants it there is always a way and you and your wife are a proof of it. I don't come from an easy background; I accomplished putting myself through college later on in life. With hard work and dedication everything is possible. Although nothing was ever handed to me, I can't say I completely relate because I haven't been in these extreme harsh circumstances but I sure love reading such hopeful and real success stories as yours and your wife's.
More than you would think manage to escape. Once your at the bottom of life's barrel you only have two choices: change and grow or be destroyed and end up in long term incarceration or dead. Many choose to change. Some take small steps like my wife others change greatly in short order like a guy I helped get off the street and I am about to promote to manager of one of part my business. Yes, some fall back to old habits and end back where they started from.
I would enjoy to know. Too bad I can't pm you...
The best thing is that you made it and are giving back to others. Too many people that become well off after a struggle become hardasses and look down on struggling people. I was born dirt poor and remember being asked by my mother to help steal one of a neighbor's chickens so that our family could eat one day. After excelling in K12 school and getting hard earned science based degrees and years of hard work, I am what is considered by the government to be upper middle class/wealthy. My experiences as a child taught me that not all people that are down on their luck and struggling deserve to be there, very few do. I take every reasonable chance to help those less fortunate than I am. Cudos to you for using your life experiences in the right way.
We at SWOP encourage anyone in the sex industry who feels threatened, frightened or simply needing "out" of the business to exit the world of sex work safely. SWOP offers support and resources for a safe and successful exit plan.

I missed the show but I will certainly look for it in the weeks to come. Thanks for sharing! And yes, many of us here are truly blessed and fortunate to enjoy what we are doing and doing it as safely and sanely as possible.

I didn't have a chance to see it as I was planning my next adventure, but I'll set it up to record the next showing.
He thought it was a BD/SM session and left an envelope.
Poor guy, talk about not being clear on the subject.

....in the bushes with his junk stuck in a coke bottle.
I didn't see the show myself, yet, but as far as that interrogation room, yeah, I was drunk, saw the handcuffs and thought 'Fuck yeah!'
The bush deal I can explain. Again, I was drunk, I slipped and fell, and my dick got stuck in the bottle. Totally innocent. Could happen to anyone.
Chicagohotdog, my only buddy that DIDN'T shit allover me in this thread, let me know when it cums on and we'll check it out together.
Lol!!! ![]()
I see SOMEONE has some sense around here. ![]()

I'm too busy finishing plotting and planning for my trip in 4 days to Hobby Heaven.
Besides, I can't think of anything bad to say about you.
It will be my 3rd trip there this year.
The economy is so depress there that the ladies are almost giving it away.
I feel it is my duty to help the spread the wealth, and spend a week helping everyone that I can.
A gentleman, scholar, philanthropist, all around nice guy. Willing to give so much for so many.
My hat's off to you, sir. May the Gods make your journey there swift and plentiful for so many in need.
And please, try to have a little fun for yourself.
I know, I know. You're doing it for them. But please, CHD, try to stop and smell the roses while you're there doing your charity work. ![]()
Believe me, I will try and get more than a whiff of the sweet fragrance of all the flowers that I come it contact with.
Oh, please be careful, you don’t want to dilute the beer.
But it's early yet. Just opened my first beer, so give me a while and I'm sure you can come up with something. lol!
I didn’t know that you partook in imbibing of the spirits.
Sure, come on down. I'll be in Phoenix from 12/1 - 12/9.
Or do you mean help cutting back my appointments to a number that even I think is reasonable? I might have gone overboard.
I'm not sure, but I think I have a problem.
Lemme see. You wanna help C talk shit about me. Hmmm.....
Where is that phone of mine? The one with the pix and the video....
Treachery and blackmail is such a dirty business....
Good thing I'm not above that sort of behaviour....
LOL!!!
Love you, man! ![]()
I was thinking the same thing while watching but since I only know you from our convo's, it was more like kept thinking I wonder if that guy was MP, or maybe that guy.
you have email,
Doc
BTW, I don't appreciate being lumped in with pimps and shit.
EVERYBODY knows Mikey loves the ladies, and would never physically harm them.
If they want a spanking, well, that's another story. As long as I get one in return... ![]()
Fucking A, fisher! You made me LMAOF twice in one day! I guess you get credit for MSOG with two pops! You are my ATF, sweetie!

Some massage gal totally blew my mind and now i can't remember much of anything.
(She's going to think about the offer, by the way.)
Just a matter of time.
We were talking about a deal where you stood up infront of a crowd? ![]()
I have that dream a lot.
(In any case, I hope it was a dream.)
You could've been nekkid for all I know.
Stop giving me visuals! lol! ![]()

and posting my site without permission. They keep airing that f.... show for the past 2 years now I think. I've been having problems ever since that I can't go into here as I don't want more attention on the issues. Real helpful indeed.
