Do any of the other gents here view their hobbying as playing a small role in getting the economy going again?  After all, providers are likely to spend most, if not all, of their donations immediately, providing a real economic impact right away.

Or am I just searching for a rationale to sleep with beautiful women??

You mean like clothes, shoes, and perfume?
I never gave it much thought.

However, I am comforted in knowing that they have cab fare to get home, and their cell phone has minutes for the next time I call :)

I help stimulate her bank account and whatever else she is willing to let me stimulate...In return I get my own stimulus package...or is it that she stimulates my package...who knows! It's all good!

I'm just surprised that MA hasn't figured out a way to tax it.

In other words; you use the stimulus to stimulate the stimulator who in turns stimulates your stimuli through stimulation? Got cha"

LOL.

I don't know about the other ladies but I rarely get to spend mine immediately. Nearly all of it goes to the bank for rent, car payment, insurance, utilities... The leftover goes into savings to take care of uncle sam,

situation well in hand.  Unfortunately, there is a number of providers who spend the $$ quickly and don't think long term.

Remember, Al Capone was arrested for tax evasion, not bootlegging or prostitution.

I pay my bills!

Sounds simple, right? Really, I am just a normal gal...with a nontraditional occupation.

I make sure my car note is paid, and that I keep a roof over my head, etc. Then, I pad my savings. I enjoy knowing that at any given time I have a few thousand saved, as I never know when a raining day may come for me in the hobby (honestly, it could be tomorrow). I have NO job security. None. Nada. In the past year, I have seen how bad things can get in the hobby and I never want to be in a poor financial. I save.

However, I do splurge on some things like pedicures (a necessity for the hobby, but also a nice stress reliever for me). Although I primarily eat at home (thank you for helping me to buy groceries), sometimes I like to eat out. I grew up a tomboy, so mostly I get my hair and nails done for the hobby, yet I love it!

And I will pay my taxes.

Sounds pretty normal to me.

Gentlemen: You help to stimulate the economy in many ways. Thank you for how you also help me. I appreciate you immensely (thank you for sexually satisfying me also).

Xoxo,
Gia:)

By the way, I concur *completely* with dddbabe (see below).

Let me start by saying Thank You to all the wonderful Gentlemen who stimulate my economy :))

But few words have to be said.

Generalisations are never a good idea.  You are bound to get quite a few of us Ladies here riled up by this post.  We are no more likely to spend most if not all of our compensation than any other woman in the world.

Sure you got your 19yo who while working for agencies think in terms of "ok gotta see 4 more people for that Prada bag" or streetwalkers who get out of a car and rush to corner dealer.

However majority of Ladies on TER are a lot more prudent with their financial affairs and think long term.

We pay bills, invest and pay taxes.  We do of course have to spend more on such "luxury" items as manicures pedicures facials lingerie lubes photos websites etc etc etc than your female coworker.

Doubt she has to shop for 150 bras on regular basis :)

So when you assume ... you know how it goes!

I don't need an excuse other than that I like a woman to sleep with her; so the fact I don't see it as economic stimulus is no problem.

Rather than seeing it as economic stimulus, I see it as a wealth transfer.

If I keep the money in my pocket, I will either invest it or spend it. If I hand it to a provider, she will do the same. The net amount of money involved hasn't changed; and the net economic impact is zero because what has been added to the provider's investments or spending has been subtracted from mine. It comes out a wash in terms of the larger economic picture.

The only variable here is whether the provider would invest that money in a way such that it ultimately generated more value than it would if I had invested it. And the answer to that is pretty individual.

But, like I said, I don't have to have economic stimulus as a way of justifying sleeping with hot babes I happen to like. (*grin*)

I think you are rationalizing indeed. Nothing wrong with that. Depending on your SO may be the other way around. My hobby money is more likely to end up in Neiman Marcus if it stays in the household economy than if I donate it to a TER lady (hobby money is not from basic needs rather from expendable basket, to which SO ultimately has access to).

I have been saying this for awhile now.  Hobbying is good for the economy.   Guys give us money.  We spend money on clothing, hair, makeup, nails, gym memberships, hotels, airfare, etc etc etc.  Not all of it, of course, but some always goes back into our business.

First, the consumer spending is approx 70% of GDP. Now it would be interesting if they broke that percentage down between men and woman.

Second, my anecdotal evidence. I have 1 son and 1 daughter. They both went to their prom. Son expenses were about $200 for a tux rental, corsage, prom tickets and his share of the limo. Daughter expenses exceeded $1000. New dress, new shoes, new bra for that new dress. Jewelery, pedicure, manicure, and hair styling. Oh yes, spray on tan and bikini wax. I sound like a Mastercard commercial, but priceless my ass.

So my guess is that if women spent the same amount of money as men, we would be in a depression, and somehow that would translate into less pussy.

If a wealthy person saves his money the economy is not stimulated.  If he spends his money on a lady that will spend the money again then both he and the economy are stimulated.  Sounds stimulating to me!

Women control, overall, 60% of consumer spending, and men the other 40%. So the perception that women spend more than men -- a whopping 50% more -- has a basis in reality.

I know, I know -- at least TRY to act shocked. LOL

However, this doesn't mean that if women failed to spend money it would simply evaporate. That money would still be left in bank accounts, put into investments or whatnot.

So I don't think there would be an economic problem per se; just a shift in where money went.

Instead of 1,000 pairs of shoes in a jumbled mess; there would be fine hand-crafted European shotguns. But the money would still be spent.

:-)

... it tends to be invested.

And that investment makes possible the capital outlays needed to undertake new enterprises, find new cures for diseases, create new jobs, etc.

But that doesn't mean he shouldn't book a solid three days with the lady of his fancy, either. After all, what good is wealth if you can't enjoy it a little?
