I thought I had lost $700 that was in my wallet a couple months ago. I had no idea who took it.  I found it months later, in a coat I seldom wear.
Just to be safe I would check my recent credit card transactions.If she copied your CC number and expiration date, her friend in Bermuda might charge thousands.

If your story is true then her IQ must be in the negtives.

Step 1: Empty your wallet while you aren't looking.

Step 2: Tell you a sob story that might encourage you to give her a tip, only to have you check your (now empty) wallet and discover the theft while you are there in the room with her.

Do your review exactly as you would have. Score her a 9 or 10 if that's really how you felt. But also, include your suspicions about the theft in your review. Don't say - "but, she swiped a $20" - provide the facts exactly as you have here and let the reader decide what to think.

There's another thing to take into consideration.

Don't come across as a cheap-ass. There's really no better way to say it.

You have said that you'd give her a great review, which is a good tip in itself. Really? How far does a review go at the grocery store? A tip is money. Money given willingly for great service. Don't use it like a carrot in front of a donkey, or a bargaining tool.
Yes...before anyone jumps in and says it...I know that a good review could bring in more business....blah blah blah. It's not a tip...and treating it one...is cheap-ass.

There's a bunch that doesn't make sense...so I'm going with the "two sides to every story" mindset on this one.

You are not required to give a tip, and furthermore, her hitting you up for a tip is very bad form.

There is an almost even split on those that agree or disagree that there was a theft based on the info provided. It IS a relevant fact - the OP seems to think there is no question that money was stolen. But providing the facts, rather than just stating he was ripped off, has allowed everyone to form their own opinion.

And if a lady believes something was stolen from her by a client, I have no doubt she is going to post him on a DNS anyway.

Everything went well.

At the end of our session, she mentioned that she only got 30% of the fee and rest was for the hotel and agency owners.  And she also told me she has a young kid, bills to pay, and it's been 5 days since her last call.  And she surely appreciates a tip next time.  I think she said all these after she took $20 of my wallet.

I was thinking of talking to her agency.  $20 is nothin much but she still took it without permission. Knowing she has a kid and she relies on this job, I donno.  I even told her I would give her a stellar TER review and she said - please!  What will you do in my situation. Do something or do nothing?  

At the least, I would call the agency and give them the heads up.  Any agency who values your business will make it up to you.

But geeze, 20 bucks?  Are you really, really, really sure?

One last point.  You should always tip a 9/10 agency girl.

is never acceptable, no matter how small.  the fact is you didn't gift it and she crossed major boundaries going in your wallet.  you can't let her get away with that, or she will steal more from her next victim.

The agency has a tier-rating and she was one of the more expensive ones, so I didn't see the need for a tip.   I also told her I'll give her a good review and will come back to see her, which is a nice tip if you ask me. Her other clients have not done a review for her.  Anyway ... I'm sure I had $20.


 


 

You said she was talking about a tip AFTER you went to the bathroom.  

If she took the money, it seems odd she would then try to get you to give her a tip, which would force you to look in your wallet, which would get her caught.

For $20 bucks, let it slide.  

And stop leaving your wallet laying around.

Yeah, no shit.  That can't be the going rate for an agency split.  Either that or she is covering the cost of the hotel/apartment by herself.

Yeah I have thought about this.  That if I had given her a tip, she'd be discovered.  But maybe she could just say - maybe you spent that cash and pretended she didn't know.

I told her I was a first time client of the agency, and her rate was on the highest tier - higher than other girls.  So she probably took the chance I would not tip as a first time visitor because she was already getting the highest rate than anyone there.

I didn't leave my wallet lying around, because it was in my jeans' backpocket.  I went straight from withdrawing from a drive-through ATM (I was in my car) to her hotel.   I even went and looked at the car floor if I dropped the bill - nothing.

So you're coming to me as a cheap-ass as I paid more than you for this one.   $20 is nothing, but you don't get it.  It's the principle involved. Stealing $1 or $20 or $1000 is still stealing.  That's what I've been wrestling with.  It has nothing to do with the amount.  And I am going to tip her for the 2nd visit, now that I know her performance.  It's just that she steals, get it ?  So even if I tip her $100, what's to stop her from getting another $40 or $60 from my wallet when I'm in the shower? That's the issue right there. It's never enough for some.

Like canceling at the last minute. Putting the clients real full name and employment information for anyone to Google. Effectively outing him to anyone who looks. I have also seen one client outed on one of the public blacklist sites. He would be following the example of a few providers not the other way around. I would not include any mention of it to anyone, unless I was sure, but it is not like some ladies don't do far worse over just as stupid stuff. At least the review would not be searchable by her real name. If he is 100% sure she stole it he should just report it to the agency and forget it if not he should just forget it but if he did add it to his review it would not be anywhere near as damaging as some of the public black-list sites that have similarly stupid stuff reported and effectively outing the client with out any recourse to ever remove his name off the list. She could always get delisted or appeal the review. I agree that he would be an ass if he put it in the review without proof like seeing her do it but don't pretend some providers have not done worse for as little if not less. The review could and likely would hurt her business until she builds up other good reviews but the blacklisting could do more then hurt a guys hobbying it could cost him his job and/or his family and more than half of what he owns. I am not saying you would do so as I doubt you would but others have. If I was him I would just add her to my personal DNS list and move on. Too much drama without proof for so little. Literbike, I do not mean this as an attack against you or anyone else, I am just getting tired of the client bashing I am getting from certain friends of my wifes, and from some of the ladies on this board, not necessarily you. I guess I am getting a bit jaded.

And the ladies are paid primarily with tips. The lady only gets 50% of the $150 agency fee and must cover their own expenses like condoms and STD testing. The last review I wrote was an incall with an agency girl. I did not know at the time how this agency worked or I would have never booked. A lot of the back-channel information I received was incorrect or showed up after the session.

My point was I would be very hesitant to do that to a client unless I had absolute proof. He gets tarred as a thief and he has a hell of a time getting an appointment...even if there is whiff of alleged theft. I prefer to post something about someone that could be very detrimental to them if I can prove it without a shadow of a doubt...but that's just me.

if you left a $20 bill visible, it would likely be considered a tip...if she actually went into your wallet and removed cash, bad on her, and bad on you for leaving it there.  What are you saying by "on" and "of"?  Your language or typing has clouded the issue for me.

I have absolutely no sympathy for thieves. If she needs more money then she should search out another service that will allow her to keep more of the money. I don't know where she is from, but the standard in Tennessee is 50% and the service usually takes the hit on the room as well (provided you are with a decent service). Or better yet, become an independent and keep it all. No excuses for stealing.
