Who are these people who go to Dubai for work? It seems like I’m always hearing stories. But, just out of sheer curiosity, how do they even manage it?
I always hear they have to endure bad stuff. But I have no idea if that's true.
And by bad stuff I mean imagine going to a country where women are considered property. Then imagine by your profession you are considered LOWER than those women. Imagine how you will be treated.
....is a very popular destination for Brits to go and work and play. Not that unusual for women over here to be asked to go and do an overnight there with a Brit...or be his travel companion whilst he is there. You just have to make sure you are informed of the traditions, laws and culture before heading off...

What do you mean by 'manage' it. Dubai is basically the Las Vegas of the Middle East, except without the gambling and alcohol. LOL
Its like going to the Mall of America, but on steroids. Kidding aside, you can get alcohol, if you're with locals, best to just avoid it. They may say they understand, but better to get a non-alcoholic drink. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. As a woman, I think it would suck big time to go to the Midle East for work. For example, one place didn't have a woman's restroom on the main floor. The women had to go to another floor to use the restroom. This was not a small building by any stretch of the imagination.
Are women allowed to dress as women in public in Dubai? More specifically, in Western garb and even "provocative" Western garb? In some places in the Middle East, a woman who exposes too much skin (bare arms; bare shins) can be attacked on the street by fundamentalists (who will probably set about to, fundamentally, rape her as punishment for her heretical immorality). Can women talk to men on the street or must they stay in a women's group? Can they even touch a man (shake hands, touch his arm) in public?
.
Serious Qs. (I make a lot of funny posts, but I asking these Qs seriously.)
It’s a beach resort - there are literally thousands of people on the beach in bikinis etc...
Edited to add link

I've seen local women in short dress and showing a bit of cleavage. One in particuar was Persian, and she was gorgeous. One of the most beautiful women I've seen. That being said, it was still tasteful and a very expensive dress, and she was with a boyfriend. Just remember Dubai isnt' like the rest of the Middle East. Also, they wear long sleeves and avoid showing skin because its hot as hell and you can get sunburned really easily.
You can't get a tourist visa for Saudi Arabia. My understanding is the Crown Prince will be in town in a few weeks. Folks believe the visa situation will change. Just saying plan your trip if you're going because there are restrictions for different areas. And yes, there are some very strict Muslim areas, but you wouldn't be going there as a tourist. I would look into Abu Dhabi, too. Not too far away and driveable (hire a car to take you). Beautiful city.
I don't know about Americans, but a lot of Russians. They hang out at popular clubs. I found providers primarily through the clubs and were pretty much Russian or similar. Websites were mostly blocked. So you had to get the info before going. I never used an agency though That was just my experience.
It isn't that bad in Dubai or Qatar. This isn't Saudi Arabia.
Bare arms and bare shins are usually okay if you look clearly foreign. Even foreign Arab women can usually get away with it, although if I looked like the original poster, I might be a bit worried as she could be mistaken for Arab. Hotels catering to foreigners are usually safe spaces including their restaurants (with bars), beaches and pools.
The Persian Gulf isn't great for swimming or snorkeling; for that, you need to go to Egypt and the Red Sea. The Qataris mention to me that they preferred to swim in indoor pools. However, my Qatari hotel had a pool that was refrigerated in hot weather and warmed in cold weather with a mid-pool bar.

By manage it, I mean make it work. How do you advertise? Or do providers use more of a freelance model?
I didn’t want to imply that I was in any way ignorant about the culture of Dubai. I have Google. Lol. But, I’m curious as to how women find clients there. The UAE doesn’t seem to have a centralized platform for women to advertise their services.
You can link your profile to Dubai as I have done. That’s the only way gentlemen have found me...

That would be incredible actually. I’m going to message you
Dubai is chock full of world class restaurants serving top shelf booze and wine. There are all levels of modest and modern Muslim attire. Europeans dress pretty much as they would at home. I chose to wear sleeves that covered the upper arm, no short shorts or short skirts out of respect for their culture. I did see young women in shorts and tank tops but the men gawked at them. They aren't used to it. It is out of place. I never had a problem finding a rest room. The shopping is like Rodeo Drive on steroids. I loved Dubai. Clean, safe and a wonderland of restaurants, culture and shopping. I went with a client, so unfortunately, no tips on touring.
They all limited freedom and have to very, very careful.
A Sheik getting caught and foreigner getting caught for the same thing is not the same, different rules.
Always act with common sense when you leave the country. Biggest issues always happen from people acting up and saying/doing something that is offensive to locals or against the law.
Common sense 101:
Ladies should not wear revealing clothing in countries like India, Dubai or any country where a female is seen as property or second class.
This is probably not a great option.
The population is only about 15 percent Emirati with most of the rest being migrant workers from South Asia. They are overwhelming male, but not well paid, and escorts are their only option. Also, it is not a country where the rule of law is a big deal. I am sure that there are high-end options, but for most think of it as working in a brothel next to a low-end naval base.
For foreign women, they are pretty open on dress code. English is widely spoken (probably more so than Arabic), so it isn't hard to get around. With your looks and reviews, you can probably do a lot better. Also, they are very race-conscious and tend to prefer light-skinned blondes from Ukraine and Russia from what I understand.
But only with clients who are expats, and only clients who I've met before. I've been told off by a security guard at a mall in Dubai (the one at the base of the burj khalifa, no less) for holding hands with someone, so even if you're in the middle of the expat part of the city, it's still not the same. It's gorgeous but unless you know the client, I wouldn't risk it. It's way too dangerous.
I have been there, but risk factor is huge, you can get high profile girls through online but it comes with huge risk factor, mafia, Dubai police, trafficked girls, and there are more chances you will be robbed in your hotel room and you can't even go to police to report a crime related with providers,i will stay away from gulf cities
You can't even get a decent session with all the tools you have to work with right here at home, so we are supposed to listen to you about some place as different from here as Dubai.
Getttng laid in Dubai is hardly a risky proposition, all you need is a few bucks and a little common sense, something you seem to be totally lacking in. You may honestly be the dumbest monger who has ever graced these boards. Not being able to get laid safely in Dubai is like claiming there are no worthwhile providers in Las Vegas.
Have you ever been to Dubai or just seated at home , in front of computer and dictating whole world what’s right what’s wrong
I’m betting he has LoL.
Priya Rainelle's is visiting there soon.
My view was it’s risky there I saw things happening, I just shared a concern, i didn’t say everybody wrong or dumb or idiot, that’s not me ,
