the invitation to be a mod.  I've been following the two "_______ type of posters suck" threads all day, and I just can't understand why the beauty of these boards is just not appreciated.

It's simple really.  Post.  Early and often.  If you don't like or agree with a post, for whatever reason - reply to it.  That's what these boards are all about.  Threads are not meant to be homogeneous.  It's a DISCUSSION board.

If there is too much estrogen in a thread, give it a shot of testosterone instead of being sick of it and not playing.

If there is too much testosterone in a thread, get it in touch with it's feminine side.

Shouting down?  Shout back.  Just don't personally flame.  The old adage that you should respond to the message, not the messenger holds true for these boards.  If you don't flame, your post stays as long as it is otherwise compliant.  At least on this board when I evaluate a post.  There is no "shouting down" unless you allow it.

So what if someone disagrees with you?  We are all semi-anonymous deviants whose main goal is to play for pay, and we just camp out here between getting laid.

Have fun with it.  Don't take it so damned seriously and personally.  Just post early and often.

Seems to me that the implication isn't about discussion but rather why many discussions here it seems start or degenerate into rather pathetic suck-ups from both sides.  The point isn't whether people do or don't join discussions, it seems to be a wondering out loud why the discussions by many seem to always end up being suck-ups on both sides.

I think it's healthy to disagree at times but to attack someone is uncalled for. If everyone played nice some wouldn't have to hide behind a alias to voice their opinions.

suck up posts?  Hello??  Men and Women together on a free posting board about sex?  Pussy makes a man stupid and shameless.  Some just give into it easier than others.  Hell, if they could, some of these guys would drag their nuts over a mile of ground glass just to get a kind word from one of these women.  

But so fucking what?  You're never going to stop it. Just like you would never stop any of the shit guys (including every single one of us at some time) do to impress women.  Some are just more expressively inept at it than the rest of us.

The women do it either to drum up business or because they are nice. Again, so fucking what?

My point, and it shouldn't be elusive but it is about discussion, is that if you don't like suck-ups, don't be one - and counterbalance them with non-suck-up posts of your own instead of puking on the sidelines.  Be part of the solution not a complainer about the problem.  Simple.

I see nothing wrong with a free for all with some discretion of cource but hell aren't we censored enough in our life.

Who hasn't seen the amount of people getting involved here since we are a more open forum. I read everything and if I have something to say I will. I think sometimes I get a bad case of diarrhea of the keyboard but at least i'm here and involved in my community.

I like the way you have been doing things DC and it has been a big plus for this board. When you write you write to belong just as us. I can't wait to open up my local newspaper here on TER and get to world news..The general board fills me in on everything I need to keep me coming back for more.

So a few have their panties up in a bunch, but hey, it was an open discussion where there was no censorship. THAT is what the board should be about.

It is funny what you said about men and pussy, i guess i never really stopped to think about it that way.
