Disinterest or extinction  . What have rendered them obselete. When last have you dated a real one, or even a fake  one. Have you ever had interest.

Am interested in hearing your views .

I have always been attracted to sexy blondes. I role-play on occasion with blonde wigs & wish I was a blonde. I think my skin looks great with blonde hair. I date blondes as much as possible, but chemistry is a must. She’s on hiatus for December, but we’re available together starting 2025 for VIP Duos.

In my region, the market is dominated by Latino/Hispanic and Asian providers/agencies, who are affordable to the typical local client, while maintaining at least a decent level of service.  A youthful, attractive, personable Ukrainian blonde I know said she would not tour my area again, because of the poor turnout she received.

It is too expensive to be blonde.
.
Only 2% of the global population is naturally blonde and about 5.5% of the US population is naturally blonde. Being blonde is rare. That means a lot girls who are blonde are probably dying their hair. Dying your hair is both expensive and time consuming. As your hair grows the natural color starts to show. so to keep it up you have to go the salon at least once a month. Being blond is going to cost about $300-$500 and you're going to sit in the salon for like 3-6 hours. Also, you have to bleach out your hair before you dye it, the bleach and dye is tough on your scalp and hair. I'm guessing a lot of women stopped dying their hair blonde because it simply got too expensive over the past few years due to inflation. They're starting to shift towards highlights that is less intensive and tends to match their natural color.

Last Girl I met in Vegas recently was blonde. I know a few blondes although they’re not who I seek but if they fall into my lap, I’m not throwing them out of the bed.
Don’t be swayed by the reviews here on TER if blondes have lost their appeal.
Seems like most, or the ones I know see a unique clientele, not a TER guys. Probably because of price.,, yeah, they are pricey
And anyways, I see some Asians and Latinas going blonde, so it seem to work for them.
The American Blonde is still coveted by many foreigners.

I don't know that we should presume that the reviews we see here, or the ads on TER, or even the ads on other websites are a representative sample of the entire P4P world, much less the world in general. Even using those small sample sets, i still see quite a few blondes popping up in reviews and ads.

Moreover, has anyone here done a survey to determine whether blondes are more or less prevalent in P4P now vs. 10 or 20 years ago? In porn? In US society in general?

If you want to see to know to which demographic stereotypical blondes have mass appeal, sample some Fox News programming. Their audience is predominantly old conservative white males.

At least based on my informal survey of mostly American mongers at the Cocal in Jaco, CR. Whenever I mentioned TER to any of them, their reply was invariably, "What's that?"
Very few blondes down there, too.

The expense and trouble are likely a factor, as well as the inevitable hair damage.

I was a blonde almost 20 years ago, until I finally decided to embrace my natural red.  The constant bleaching and dying to be blonde was annoying and my hair was definitely not soft and silky like it is now.  It was prone to breakage and it seemed like I could never grow it longer.  When I was blonde I also felt like I needed to always be tanned so I didn't look too pale.

Now I just like to have a few pieces of more vibrant reds added to my natural shade to give it a little extra wow factor.

Talking about in the escort pool, or dating in general? For escorting, I think it's kind of obvious. pure (& attractive) blondes are that much more rare these days and more likely to be civvies and don't need to be escorts. As for the u.s. in general, the population isn't homogenized anymore, it's not the 50's or 60's anymore, and the gen-x era has long past. I recall seeing more blondes up to the the early 10's including on hx, but they're mostly gone now.  Or now it's eastern europe or russian (or ukrainain) imports or visiting providers as those nations are still more homogenized.

Sure it has gotten a little ashy and darker over the years but still a blonde.
I myself prefer darker hair and light eyes on the men, women blonde or brunette :)

So, I am blonde (AKA a bottle blonde) ...but my hair is naturally black. I have seen a trend of women with darker hair receiving more attention now VS the natural blondes or bottle blondes like me. I still get looks and of course plenty of attention but the upkeep is horrendous and time consuming. I have thought many times of just letting my color grow and seeing how that went.

You look like a gorgeous, sexy woman. If you're looking for input, I'd say quit the acid treatment, save your long-term hair health and reap the reward of discriminating gents not obsessed with flaxen hair. I wager you'll stand out with any hair color. Even your own.

Blondes  have  never  "lost  their  luster",  we've  just  shared  our  spotlight
with  those  who  enjoy  maintaining   their  brunette  roots,  and  have
ridden  the  "popularity  wave"  of  brunettes  "coming  back  into  vogue".

I'm  a  natural  blonde   (zero  "carpet"),  however  I've  been  brunette  also.
Due  to  my  natural  olive-color  Hispanic  skin,  I  can  adorn  blonde,
brunette  and  even  red  if  I  so-choose.

All  women  are  beautiful  regardless  of  their  hair  color! 💐

I think it’s too expensive and time consuming for younger women now.  They seem to prefer a low maintenance lifestyle.  I’m naturally dark blonde and it’s a lot of upkeep still.
As far as reviews reflecting that I can say I rarely meet reviewers anymore, where are they??  Are they becoming obsolete?

I don’t think blondes have lost their luster—I’d say they’re still highly preferred! That said, I’ve noticed an interesting connection between the economy and blonde maintenance. Just like strippers are often the first in the adult industry to sense an impending recession, hairstylists are among the first to notice economic shifts when their blondes start skipping their regular 4-6 week touch-up appointments. Blonde maintenance isn’t cheap, and when the economy gets tight, it’s one of the first luxuries people cut back on. It was actually a conversation amongst beauty professionals on Reddit.

So, while blondes are still very much around (bottle or not), economic factors might be influencing how often we see them looking freshly highlighted. Just a little food for thought!
