What's the controversy? No one is forcing any one to be on here (if they are independent, possibly a slightly different story with agencies). Everyone has pretty much chosen to be on here and some have even chosen to pay for VIP. I'm confused to how a lady that has chosen on her own to be on here is being exploited. Exploitation is involuntary. That's kind of the definition.

Personally, I don't Tweet, I don't FaceBook and I don't LinkedIn. Except for fuckboards I don't do social media of any kind.

I can kinda guess what it says.  

I have met some fantastic people on TER. It's a great tool for clients, and a great advertising platform for providers. However, some men (and women) use it for evil, rather than good.  

I don't resent TER itself...just the people who use it as a tool for manipulation/subjugation. Which is, in my experience, a HUGE percentage of the reviewing population.  

I've had a few recent reviews. All scores were good/excellent. Here's a breakdown of my last reviewers:  

1) He was a misogynist (from a different culture, brought up to believe that women should be subservient and that sex was dirty) who kept me way over time, and asked for BB. Failing BB, he asked for BB anal (I guess he assumed that I'd only refused for fear of pregnancy?). Left me a halfway decent review, even though I said no to both BB requests, and a dodged his offer for a free overnight (that stupid fake dog would have peed all over my house!).  

Might I add here...he was the ONLY BBFS and anal requester I've had since, like, 2013. And the only BBFS anal requester I've had, ever. So a complete anomaly.  

2) Really nice guy. The appointment went over a little, but that was because we were both genuinely enjoying ourselves . That's all

3) Slimeball. Overstayed 3 hours and even tried to finagle an overnight. Fished about BBFS, but didn't press for it once he got a discouraging reply. Shorted me $200 even though I paid for the hotel room and a nice bottle ($50+) of wine. Left me the best review I've gotten, though.  

My takeaway? I don't even have an official presence on TER. When I did, most reviewers were like #1 and #3...and very few like #2. They knew they had me caught in a vise, and they pressed to get the most they could out of me...

Most non-TER guys, are like #2. Just normal, nice guys whose company is pleasurable, and who would never dream of using a board presence, or even $$$$, to intimidate or coerce OTC or services beyond what a girl would normally provide.  

I've written before about reviewers who try to adopt new girls. They offer to get a girl 'started' in exchange for favors. They basically demand tons of freebies in exchange for a 10-10, shill posts, and a promise to recommend them to all of their 'friends' (some of whom also get discounted sessions). They even get their girls to recruit newbies.  

TER is a great site, but there is so much corruption...that is honestly one of the worst aspects of this business

TER is a review board that favors the reviewer. Their main issues with TER seems to be:

- reviews they think are fake
- how easily you can fake a review to get VIP
- such reviews not taken down after bugging admin

They want TER to get provider's consent before a review can be published which is pretty impractical since this is a black market. TER was made with the hobbyists safety, concerns and interests at mind and I would reckon about 90% of VIP revenue comes from hobbyists. They are complaining when they have no bargaining power and no legal power...

There are already hobby forums that are run by providers but they keep bashing this place. IMO they sound like "feminists" and SJWs who just complain really loud, generalize and hate whoever that disagrees with them.  

Some reviews are fake but their suggested solution of getting consent from the provider first before the review is posted is far more broken than what we have now.

Some of these providers are brilliant!!! One said 140lbs at 5' 8" wasn't "fat"
Maybe if she's a gym rat, and a serious weight lifter, but I only know one provider who fits that profile and she didn't post this. Chances are she's a tubby.

I do not like them and early on, my worst times were with said tricks. Now I come on here to mess about but rarely and I mean rarely do I ever see a board guy and the ones I did see, that saw me sans reviews and any idea of what I would do (nada on my website), were not bad at all.  

The majority, vast majority of guys I see whether they come here and poke around or not, are like your #2. Decent, do not push for anything off menu, do not overstay and are very respectful. Not saying all TER guys are like #1 and #3 but, I do concur with VooDoo...sorry if you are a TER guy that is awesome...the others have made it tough for you.

I guess I am like the trick who saw a few non reviewed ladies and got ripped off...you then shortened your chances by eliminating them...kinda what I do to TERds...

I know a lot of you guys like 'em teeny, but really!

140 at 5'8 is actually right near (I think one pound under) the underweight mark on the standard BMI chart. She'd have to crack 160 to be considered overweight. That is assuming that she does NOT have an above-average amount of muscle mass. If she does, 140 could pretty easily be 10-15 pounds underweight for someone at that height.  

This is one of the reasons I never tell anybody my true weight, lol. Guys tend to think that anything above 100-120 is fat, no matter how tall or toned the girl.  

140 might 'sound' fat, but it's really not...

But most of the reviewers who contact me are unacceptable dates, either because they are blacklisted, or jerks, or both.  

I admit to not checking out #1 as much as I should have, because he was sent to me by a friend. Not sure what was the deal w/#3, because there were zero red flags. He had impeccable references...they were not GLOWING, but they were decisively positive, and all of the women stressed that they had nothing bad to say about the guy. I have to admit I'm a bit afraid to BL him (for BL haters, I'd only list his hobby info...no real life info).  

It's usually easy enough to avoid the bad apples, so I don't need to screen out ALL reviewers...it's also extremely tough for me to do that in my market (NYC). I really doubt I'd be able to stay competitive without reviews

I don't bother with any of it. Had my account hacked over 2 years ago and let em run with it. Now, there is a London Rayne with my butt photo pushing some product I have never even heard of. Yah, that's me alright. I am sure TER is really shaking in their boots because of the business they are losing from this.... right? NOT! Every time CSMBC aired Dirty Money, hits on adult sites from men who would have never heard of them increased exponentially... same here. So, thank them. They are actually increasing traffic for TER and providers.

There is no denying that the review system has been manipulated and unjustly utilized by clients and providers in some occasions. First, I don't think there is an obvious solution to this problem, especially when one considers that even "legitimate" businesses still have trouble with illegitimate claims. Second, the corruption goes both ways with clients being blackmailed, outed, and unjustly blacklisted publicly or wrongly put on personal DNS lists. BSC providers and clients should not ruin it for the rest of us. However, everyone should be aware that these are the risks of taking part in a black market enterprise and if these are not acceptable risks then this hobby is not for you. Third, with any type of organization there is a risk of manipulation, dishonesty, coercion, and exploitation.  

The Twitter account and its supporters seems to think that abolishing TER will solve all the issues of sex workers being exploited and treated unfairly. Not true and a gross oversimplification. Helping people understand the difference between sex work and sex slavery or servitude is a good first step. Fake and unfair reviews are a problem, but they are a small subset of legitimate reviews that serve several important purposes. 1) Honest negative reviews save clients from unsafe and traumatic experiences. 2) Honest positive reviews promote business for providers. 3) Current reviews help introduce cautious new clients and allow for providers to showcase consistency or changes. Have some providers found a way to maintain business without reviews? Yes, and good for them but I think most providers and clients still rely heavily on reviews.

The use of TER as a database of reviews, a forum for discussion, and a resource for newbies and veterans has been invaluable to me and many other well meaning providers and clients. I support TER fully aware of the problems that exist.

5'8" is fucking tall for a female. 140 is actually an ideal healthy weight for that height. Just for fun, I found a gallery of women at that exact height and weight. Not seeing a single "tubby" on there.

Where are your reviews. Once I see that....I am unavailable. If a guy is a TER person and is willing to see me otherwise, they usually are quite decent as I mentioned. Hard core reviewers I will not see and they will not see a lady without them so they are easy to avoid.

VOO-doo, I have done very well with no reviews. And have not had to deal with a fraction of what most hookers have to deal with from some guys...reviewers included. I have been extremely lucky and I am very grateful for that.

around 11 to 12%. I do not state my weight, my images do the talking. If I get an inquiry for a weight, I lie, because you are right, most guys have no clue about body composition. Shoot, off season I run 15% and that is still 5 to 12% under what is recommended by the stats out there for a normal body fat percentage for a female.
