My vote is "kick in the ass". It'll be too little, too late for the innocents that he will inevitably kill in a car accident though.

Who here among the guys has ever really gone speeding to make it to a session on time?

I'm not saying I've gone over 100 MPH (My old crate couldn't do it anyways.), but I'd plead guilty on a couple of occasions when traffic tied me up and I wanted to make up time.

I'm not sure if this guy deserves some kind of award from us or a kick in the ass.

This guy he ran a red light and a stop sign putting every one on the road in the danger.A little speeding is one thing 111 mph is a whole different story.
I know some say the power of the "p"can sometimes make you do crazy things but this is dangerous not exciting.Did he think that reason was going to get him out of a ticket?
He also had drugs in his car speeding, breaking laws, and drugs.Wow,a real winner!
After all that he didn't get sex that night.

Two weeks ago, I met a provider who is in the city. Turns out I went to the wrong side of Central Park.
It is 5 minutes before the appointment before I realize how stupid I am. So off I go... A running fool.
All dressed up, and I am smoking the joggers. I was really cooking when out of nowhere comes this huge pile of horse shit! I just miss running right through it, but trip literally go flying over the crap. I hit the ground hard, and alot of people saw. I was carrying a thick leather bag that saved my hands from getting all cut up. So she didn't realize what happened thank goodness.

Going 111 miles per hour on a 40 miles per hour zone is very dangerous. Those are usually residential areas, and have kids. Plus, he ran a red light and a stop sign which endangered other passengers. He basically used his car as a weapon for some sex. That is very stupid, but looking at that kid, he is a young idiot, not knowing what the fuck he is doing.

I've gotten plenty of speeding tickets in the past, and the most I've gotten in one month is about $2K. DC has the most speed cameras in the world, every street basically has a speed camera. Also, they charge $150-$300 depending on where you speed. I've gotten plenty of speed tickets in VA too, and they don't play down there, they'll charge you $300-$600, and those rates just been reduced from 1K.

I'll speed, but only when its necessary and the conditions of the road. I'll do like 90 MPH on a 60MPH zone only in the highway, which is appropriate IMO, but never 111MPH on a 40MPH zone.

All I can say is, I've learned to slow down, and drive the speed limit from now on. Paying those fines really put a stump in my fun.

If he spent the night in the pokey, he may have had sex.

There is nothing that stipulates that stupidity and idiocy are dependent on one's age. Based on numerous threads on the TER boards, one could just as erroneously draw the conclusion that older people are stupid, old idiots for their actions (e.g. falling in love with working girls, being ripped off by working girls, etc.).

I typically have difficulty with the idea of going just 55 or 65.  However, when heading to a sessin, I am quite good about obeying the speed limit and all those other traffic laws.  Explaining to the SO how I got a a speeding ticket somewhere that I was not supposed to be, is very difficult....

Likewise with parking - never park illegally.

I had an appointment this morning, I had an early appointment, and after running late on a conference call, I left the Upper West Side to get to Midtown East, during the morning rush, so I guess it would have been faster to get there to take the subway then to take a cab. Boy was I wrong. Again.

20 minutes late, but she was cool about. If I had the chance to drive the train, it would have been going much faster.

Of course  stupidity and idiocy are not dependent on one's age.
But you can't compare idiocy  like falling in love with working girls or being ripped off by working girls, with speeding at 111 mph under influence risking to kill innocent people on your way!!! Sorry but that's really plain stupid!

Clumsy comparison ....

not to speeding but to a collision. my fault. she called to tell me she was ready early if i could make it and the collision happened when i reached for the cell. since i was in gridlock the at about 3 mph at the time my answer was: "no. now I have to go exchange insurance info with the gal i just rear ended. if it doesn't take too long i can still be there on time."

Hey MrFisher,

Wouldn't it be easier to leave early and be there on time WITHOUT having the need to speed?

It's like one big 'DUH'!!!

No appointment, no matter what kind, is worth speeding over. That's why the US of A has one of the highest auto insurance rates in the world.

SLOW DOWN and leave early for your appointments and you folks have nothing to worry about.
