your point about the girlfriends vs the providers makes your own case for you.

What the dilly?  If you're banging providers on the side, why put up with any bs from any girlfriends on the side?  If they're (a) not as hot as the providers and (b) not providing the raw transactional sex as well as the providers, why continue to cheat with them?

If you're married and still in the hobby, I can't imagine any reason to risk your marriage by cheating with less attractive, less sexually-available civilians.  

In other words, your risk/reward ratio is higher than it needs to be and I.don't.get.it.

other than that, I have been in exactly that situation quite a few times, though now I am between girlfriends altogether...... I say between because that state of affairs has never lasted very long in the past.

Many guys are in the hobby for the variety!  You are not so weird.

I love my wife, and adore my GF.  I have a lot of friends with benefits and love seeing providers, but my GF is jealous so I have not seen any friends with benefits for a year and a half and only one provider, but it is getting hard (no pun) o refrain from providers.  

This should all calm down pretty soon: I am 67, though my fsther ws frisky until he died at 80.
