our unusual little family, I and my two ladyfriends woke up, put on our Sunday best, and trooped to the polls this morning to vote.

Turnout was LIGHT at the time. And, no, even though I am a Dom, I did not instruct my SO and our subbie to vote in any particular way.

Now, I think we shall have an extended romp today to celebrate the process that ensures our political liberty. And dedicate our passion to the incarnation of a regime that will hopefully reflect the will of the people.

So, though we are not religious (in the traditional sense ' ) we say:

God(ess) Bless America

The lines I have witnessed and will continue to through this day have heartened this otherwise chronic cynic.

 I usually avoid "lines" like the plague; but never have I been so happy and eager to join such lines for such a perfect and 'United' reason.

I'm an agnostic who often leans toward atheism; but today "God" truly has blessed America.
