Craigs list,That's one place I would never go looking for fun. I guess if there is any justice these girls were bait and switchers/ripoffs which are common on craigs list instead of honest providers. Regardless I am tired of taxpayer money being used for this nonsense, any person who was a victim of an actual crime on the date of this sting or who suffered through tardy police response for anything should be able to bring a lawsuit against this police department for breach of duty.
Every WEEK there are MAJOR busts on that site. LE has made it very CLEAR that the site will be targeted NATIONALLY! Why would anyone use it? When LE is not present, CL is home to many Bait & Switch operations, and ripoffs. Wise up people! Please use the big head, and stay safe! Below was posted HOURS ago on the Boston board---

The rest of your post I agree with wholeheartedly. Of course none of this is exactly news, most of us around here have known the pitfalls of CL for quite a while now. I guess it doesn't hurt to remind folks.
I didn't claim that they were, I just meant that it would be a little easier to stomach if they indeed were rather than if they were honest in their dealings. I have no idea if they were legit or not and I dont think the LE cares either, they are an equal oppurtunity resource waster.
I know you couldn't sue them, but it is ridiculous that they waste taxpayer money on this bs. There should be zero real crimes (robbery,rape,burgularies,murders,etc) occuring in the city,town etc before they resort to this kind of stuff to spend their time on. The bastards are like mall cops when real crimes happen, all they do is come take a report. Perhaps they could stop and or deter more real criminal activity if they weren't spending time and resources on this. How many man hours must be wasted just to get one bust????
