they take a little more effort to insert properly than slapping the latex on a stiff cock, and DATY can be cumbersome AFTER the female condom is inserted. Personally, I like them, and it would suit me fine if more ladies offered them as an option at a session!

I like them a lot. To me, they feel a lot better than regular condoms. Make sure you use a lot of lube inside the sheath, or it may not stay in place (consider the physics). They appear to provide protection over more surface area for those concerned about skin contact.
If you have a couple of ladies spending time with you, then the female condom is wonderful. No having to change between recipients, just slide out of one & into the other.
Best damn feeling in the world.
