Welcome to the "real" world! Some people use the prepaid cards to pay house hold bills etc.

Overheard a conversation recently where a guy said to his buddy, "well just pay the $4.95 for a prepaid visa card." My first thought was how would he know that? I'm in my mid 40s and had no idea what the service fee on a prepaid credit card was until I picked up the hobby last year.

Anyone else ever overhear anything like that and think I bet I know what that guy does for fun!!

Probably more likely than not it had nothing to do with the hobby. But that was the first thing that popped in my head. Was curious if others have had that type of reaction to stuff they hear.

First thing that comes up in my mind is that they are waiting for the room number to be texted to them.

I was searching on Yelp recently for comments and reviews for something.  It could have been a restaurant, but I'm not sure.
However they used the term YMMV, which prompted a reply question of what does that mean?
I have never heard that acronym outside this hobby and almost called him out on it for fun.

1. Trick
2. John
3. Happy Ending
4. Brothels
5. Use of hotels for escorting
6. Too honest about knowing nothing about STD's

He either knew about the hobby or new about the legal repercussions, but the random jokes clued me in. I just acted stupid and asked what the hell he was talking about lol.

Curious to find out a little more lol.

Did you work prior to meeting him? ... if yes.

The jokes were a subtle omissions, that he knew you worked the profession.

I view that as a very disrespectful thing to do. Unless you bring up the conversation.

I was texting back and forth with my uncle recently (he lives in the south) and he responded to something I said with "bwahaha." My immediate reaction was "Holy shitsnacks...he knows HTG."

The funny thing is, I'd be totally cool with him hooking up with her because his wife's a total bitch.

... Phones.
Guys- who have a fancy smartphone + a throwaway. And who don't  wear them on a holder or answer to Timewarner cable or Verizon. You'll see finance people with two iPhones or bberries for work and home. But there's only a few reasons to have a throwaway if a guy has a nice phone. If you watched Breaking bad, Walt's wife busted him initially because of the second phone.
I try to look for guys looking at their ter on their phones. Haven't caught anyone yet.
Girls- hot!, nice bag and shoes+ more than one phone. There's obviously exceptions. But there's a certain look to the phones, the girl. The Indy is a little tougher than the agency girl to spot.

Unfortunately these times, my personality will get me in trouble because I'll go over ( if it's a lady) and do the Borat "how much?" Well, not literally that blunt but I'll try to see if I'm right. I'm 75% on those times involving a lady. Just make sure those other 25% of the time, there isn't a big BF joining her.
