I am just more curious about your questions and where they originate from. You do know that sex workers are just regular humans, right? We do everything that anyone else does. I am right now sitting on my couch in my jammies drinking coffee. I am seeing one client today from 2 to 3 pm. I am going to change the sheets and throw a load of towels into the dryer that I did not do yesterday. Last night I had a client take me to see the nutcracker ballet, which was awesome. We forgot to get reservations for dinner so we ended up going to the local "by the slice" pizza place beforehand. I did not see any of my family or friends at the theater, but I did see a few other clients. We smiled at each other and nodded, like you would do when you see any other human you know. I have gone with clients to family functions, they just tell them that I am their date, which is true. My family and friends know what I do, so if I do bump into them I say the same, I am on a date. Not salacious and thoroughly uneventful, sorry!
Providers go in public on both paid dates and civie dates but friends/family typically wont know the guy is a RW BF or a client. The etiquette is when a client of the provider sees her out in public by herself or on a date, is to not go up to her because that could jam her up. There can be exceptions to that general rule but one better be sure before they make that faux pas.
It's just natural that men might have an interest in how women of taboo meet experiences of life. I'm not sure it is necessary to belittle such curiosity.
I am not belittling at all, you are misinterpreting my response. Sex workers are not taboo, and we are most certainty not a curiosity. My explanation is to show that our profession does not somehow distort our experiences in life that any other humans experience. The sooner we can all understand that sex work is just a job and that we are regular, normal people just like everyone else the less unnecessary stigma we will receive inside and outside of the industry. I spend a lot of my time explaining to people that clients of sex workers are regular, normal people and I would hope clients do the same when asked about sex workers.
Maybe goes back to the stereotype that we all dress like Julia in Pretty Woman? I mean when I was in the pizza shop with my gentleman friend Saturday night we sat in the table next to two police officers that were on their break. Guess what happened? Nothing. There were also several families with small children. Guess what happened? Nothing. Most professional providers you will not be able to pick out of a crowd, which is a good thing!
I have been in this industry for over 20 years. My friends & family know I am a professional woman of leisure. I have always been honest because there’s no reason to lie. My clients are my friends. Any other questions?
Had a stripper and an escort say hello first to me at the home depot and the grocery store, respectively. I waved back and was on my way. The escort was with her young son. The stripper was even more beautiful clothed and in full light; the escort was not. HA!
