I actually read through the whole ad. I want to gather as much information before I decide to contact the provider for an appointment. To me, more information in the ad allows me to make a more informed decision, and I do read what is there. I'll then read through her site thoroughly, too.

Does it take to screw in a lightbulb ? KIDDING !!
How many men really read our 'hard worked' ads...
Do you just scroll to the nitty gritty.. Phone number and site ? OR do you actually read the whole thing ?
Sometimes I get so lazy.. And just say..
Come see me !
(phone)
(site)
_____
Im in (Insert city here ) today. Come see me !
(phone)
(site)
Thanks in advance for the answers !
While quite new to this, I found and still find that a well written and informational ad halps get my attention. I was turned off by the "u" instead of "you", "u4M", etc. types since if they show less than a standard of marketing that is professional or at least well done, I figured they were not going interesting for me. Also, the "$x for bbbj & fs and call", "me beautiful" etc. really does not lend a lot. Things that helped me focus includes a description as to approximate area of town located or willing to serve, plain disclosure of incall/outcall, a good photograph if any. Also, a list of what and what a person will defintiely not do really helps. Or at list of definite nots.
I have seen ads like you lazy ad and their limitation is unless the person seems to cruise the ads and already knows you from them or has engaged you previously, it just is not enough information.
If its too long I just go to the picture and price and number but K.I.S. key words for me is GFE, non rush if you say that then we dont need to read a novel!
Some of the verbiage can be skipped over.. all the same.. I'm this and I'm that.. I do read the bio info on the ladies website if she has one..Like to know a little something other than the obvious..just to try to establish a little repore when the in person meeting happens..
just my .02
it takes 2 men to screw in a light bulb. One to hold the bulb and the other to drink until the room spins. If I'm interested I read the whole site.
Thanks you two.. I didnt mean the site, i meant ads.. advertising ads.. do you skip through the words, and go right to the site ?
Thanks for the answers so far though!
LOL about the lightbulb !
Oh, that\'s right....and I buy Playboy for the articles......
You gals have advertisements somewhere? Where can I find there? Are there pictures?
If she is a lady I am interested in, I will read the whole ad, Ciara. I read yours, even though I have read many of them already, but we are separated by geography making personal contact unlikely.
If it is a new lady that I have not seen pictures of yet, I probably will go to her site and look at pics to see if she is someone I would want to see. If she is, I will go back and read her ad after looking over her website.
Happy Holidays!

I like ladies with personality, so I would read the text as long as it was not more than eight sentences (the so-called "rule of eight").
No text would be fine as long as there was a link to the site.
I would not call in response to a one sentence ad with a phone number and no website
and one woman to screw in a light bulb! The hard part is getting out afterward.
But back to the actual question .. I don't read a lot of the verbiage, I look at the pics, look at the rates and read the reviews.

I've heard estimates that as many as 20% of adults can not read at even a fourth grade level.
Beyond that, it could be a nasty case of hornyness that is responsible, and perhaps a bit of alcohol as well.
Well,
being that I'm never sober when I read ads , I never really um read anything, I like pictures.
hah.
and reviews.

Just finished installing one of those lightbulbs and the room is still spinning, so hopefully this post makes some sense...
On the first pass, I look at the pics, location and rate info. If what I see interests me, I'll take a 2nd pass and read the text as I hope to get some sense of the provider's personality and if we'd get on - which is becoming largely more important the longer I've been in the hobby.
Obviously links to reviews/website are important, but I wouldn't respond to a quick one or two sentence ad...I'd say the effort women put into their ads isn't always lost on many of us.
Happy Holidays!

Ciara, I always read the entire ad, just to see if I really want to go to the site. If a provider begins wasting my time telling me she is a fine wine, or a Rolls Royce, or some other wonderful inanimate object, I know that's as far as I need to go. I do get to Buffalo at least once a year, and have read your ads and your entire site. I've found it to be one of the most entertaining that I've seen.
I like to get as much informaiton as possible. So I'll read everything that is in an ad, TER profile/reviews and the website.
I usually read the whole ad if I think I may be interested in seeing you.

Music on site- Get out quick
Diva, angel, goddess- not really interested in them. It would be hard to carryon with any of the above. Besides, haven't met any divas, angels or goddesses.
Nice, short and informative will read the entire ad.
so it certainly depends on the author. I think in ads and on websites some wit and intelligence pay big dividends. Providers are in the business of spinning believable fantasies and that takes more than just a sexy body. Our little brains may pick the body but the experience will be lousy without some brains. So I for one always read everything before I pick up the phone.
I do read most of text of many ads, as long as certain turn-off buzzwords don't appear too frequently or too close to the start of the text.
Reading these ads will, i hope, eventually inspire some posts.
As well, my sister, and several other acquaintances, are advertising copy writers, so I try to apply what i've picked up from them of that craft to these ads. Too much time on my hands, I think.
If the ad is just one or two lines giving the barest of info and a link then I don't bother. I like a "hook" or something different that makes it stand out from the other ads.

TER Profiles are very helpful to avoid expectation mistakes. So, my sequence is pics first, website second, reviews and profiles third, pricing last. Yes, I do read the site's text if the pics entice me. Red flags are if there is a wide spread on review ratings.
after I have come close to my final decision on making the phone call/email. I want to get as much of a sense of who I am going to meet as possible ahead of time. Some things put into a personal write up will definitely make me say...Great looking - but no; on at least a few occasions.
I actually read through the whole ad. I want to gather as much information before I decide to contact the provider for an appointment. To me, more information in the ad allows me to make a more informed decision, and I do read what is there. I'll then read through her site thoroughly, too.

...I do take the time to read the whole site. I want to see how the provider presents herself in her writing, which gives me a clue about whether we'll enjoy each other's company in "down time." Also, if she has any special instructions that I should follow to make a meeting more likely or enjoyable, I'd be a fool not to read those.

I tend to agree on the gallery point.
On the ad, I follow this procedure:
1. Check the pictures. I am pretty specific on my tastes - specifically the abs and often the face. I love large, beautiful eyes and a winning smile. Even blurred, I can get a general idea of the lady's facial features. No match to my personal preferences, then I go on to the next.
2. Check the contact info. If the pics have me interested, I check the contact info on TER and look at the reviews.
3. Visit the website. Gallery first, then "about me" and finally, services/rates/gifts (to get a general idea of the lady in question).
4. Read the rest of the advert, and see what the lady is offering.
So, really, information on TER and a website will be far more likely to garner business (in my case) as well as a good initial photograph.
As a note on photos, if it looks TOO professional, or the girl is spread-eagled or it's just a pussy/ass-shot, I skip. I like a good waist-up shot (face can be blurred, but omitted face is generally a turn-off). Don't have to be buck-naked, but I do like to see a bare midriff or breast/ribs. If I can get the general idea (without baggy clothes), all's good. Wet t-shirts can be a plus. ![]()
I'm not certain what ads you are referring too, but the only ads I look at are on CV. I usually get there through reviews on TER. Even after that process, a well written ad, describing the type of woman you are and the type of chemistry that might develop, vs. types of acts that will be performed, weigh heavily on my decision. I've found some of the most alluring and provocative ads are the shortest, regarding number of words. However, it's probably important for you to know that I do allot of research before I make a decision, because I'm looking more for GFE and safety. Also, I'm not looking to be with allot of different women, just a select handful.
Here's how it works for me:
1. Gallery/Stats
2. Donations
3. Amount of personal info required to book
4. Bio
5. Everything else
At any point down that sequencial list it can be a no go for contacting the provider. However, if I make it down all the way to 4, then I will re-read everything several times and starting focusing on 4 & 5.
It's all important, but if she ain't turning me on, out of price range, and too intrusive - it ain't going to happen.
the trick is getting him and the lady into the light bulb.
The ads are helpful if I am interested, but I wouldn't make the effort to rework your ads every week. If I know you, then the ad doesn't matter much. If I don't know you, then last weeks ad is new to me.
...for you to come to DC.
You are so going to fall in love with me.
