I feel great about them, too bad SO does not feel so comfortable. She teases that it may happen but does not pull the trigger. Thinks that it can complicate the relationship. Well, not having them is what's complicating the relationship
I think its healthy for couples to explore and have fun with their relatinship and keep it fresh and interesting . cause the last thing you need is a bored husband or wife!!!
I have done it in my civi life long before I got into this little world. You and your partner must, must must. I can't stress that enough talk about boundries and what you are comfortable with and signals and key words. I suggest testing some boundries before you just dive right it.
I can say it really did help our realationship and added some much needed spice. but it was not something we did all the time...
Good Luck

I like to have fun, but mix it up a bit. Me and my husband get together with others but sometimes I wonder about the status of that

Try giving her permission. Let her be the first (or at least think she is - if you have "been there, done that").
Just make an agreement that after she has had hers - you'll go do it together. And then maybe later - "hey it's my turn to go out for one on my own". It could work...eh?
