Usually when I'm on the road and staying overnight in a particular city I usually seek out well reviewed providers that provide incall vs outcall. In fact, to date I have never seen a provider on an outcall while on a business trip. Perhaps I'm paranoid... or maybe I just like that seperation between my professional life/personal life. At worst I could imagine some incident or problem with the hotel that I've charged to my company AMEX. At the least... as a business professional... well hotel walls tend to be thin. I'd much rather keep things seperate and drive to a location. At least if things aren't what they seem I can always choose to leave.

Wondering what the general prefeneces are?

OUTCALL...The last thing I want to do is go to a new city and then drive around in unfamiliar areas looking for a hotel/apt, etc.  What if something happens?  In your own room you have at least some control in familiar sorroundings.

I wouldn't know if a neighborhood is safe.  My hotel room is very safe.

I have no control if I go to meet you in your hotel room.  It is your space that you are in control of.  It is unfamiliar to me and then there is more risk of LE etc.  I do see your point regarding being in an unfamiliar area since I feel the same way you do.  But, for my safety and for me to feel relaxed enough to give you an excellent session, I prefer incalls.

To each their own.  There are many ladies who provide outcalls.

If I plan to see someone, I try to get a nice place (spend extra for a suite etc) have water, wine, and a snack handy, make a longer appointment.
I worked in NYC for a few years and was up there all week, had a nice apartment, and loved hosting.
I can't do that from my home, but love to do it when away.

incall.  I have done some outcalls when I was out of my home area, but only because I had to do it that way.

I really like going to her site since I feel like she is more comfortable there.  Her comfort in the situation is more important than mine, IMHO.  At her place, she has the amenities, like candles, music, etc, that she is familiar with.  Stuff I don't have to worry about.

Hell, I'm gonna be nervous anyway, no need for both of us to be nervous.

Even WalMart has candles. I prefer the lady visiting me when on a business trip. This way I don't think part of my donation is going towards a room.

I only do out calls when I travel. What good is being in a nice three or four star hotel room if I can't get laid in there?  Sure the walls are thin but people have sex in hotel rooms all the time, it' really not a big deal.

He's in the room next door. I worry about the knock on my door more than anything else.

It can also make for difficulties in scheduling. I'm usually required to participate in dinner with him. I'm then forced to schedule for a later than desirable time just to make sure I'll be done with dinner.

I live in the quietest of suburbs, and the bulk of my neighbors are teachers, and have families.  So at home, I will always opt for meeting the lady at her place.

On the road, different story.  More often than not, I have entertained, and I see no reason to change that.

Not a professional, nor give a fuck what the people in the next room hear. Not married with kids.

Everyone knows I'm a selfish sonovabitch and do WTF I want, so I don't hide it.

And for some reason they still want to be around me... ;)

Anyway, I'm going to Vegas in a week and a half for 3 nights and have 3 dates all lined up.

It won't hurt my feelings in the slightest bit when the other guests see me walking around with one gorgeous lady after the other! ;)

And Tasha's a hellova lot of fun! She is sooo cool!

But then again, so are the other two ladies...!

I got VERY lucky with the way this little vacation of mine is set up. I get along so great with these ladies, and I can't wait to see them!

I have always done in call meaning to her location. I always have a car and it is less expensive. When I am providing incall to my location is 4 incalls to 1 out call
