I have a separate phone that I use for this business, but I was just updating my calendar on my smart phone.

Might be wise to keep everything separate?  One fone for civvy life and one for your alter ego.  That way, can't mix the two lives you lead.  :)

I love my droid I really do it has been a blessing since I got it and yes a few times a curse as I just found out once again.

SO... I was updating my calendar on my droid to include an appointment and in this NEW EVENT i added the gents email address as a reference for myself. So my droid x wanted to be such a great little assistant and send to the email address confirming the appointment. Well this is all fine and dandy (NOT) but it sent it from my civi account with my real name  and real job info attached to it.

Big OOpsie,,, technology these days trying to help us and make our lives easier was not so great here and I learned to not put the email addresses in my calendar anymore... uhhhgggg.

Thnx to the gent for being understanding I just outed myself, your discretion and laughter is appreciated.

iPhones have this charming habit also. i was not amused to find that a pic i wanted to send went out from an account with connected to the civy world. my fully compensated friend likes to receive mementos of my travels. the good news is that the recipient was someone discreet and trustworthy.

Not sure if your Droid X is the same as my EVO but when you add an event in your calendar make sure you don't link it to your google calendar and instead choose PC sync.

Another example of the update of Alexander Pope's famous saying:

To err is human, but to really screw up, you need a computer.

Omgosh that sucks!  I'm so sorry to hear that.  I've done some stupid things with my IPhone when I first got it a few years ago.  What a horrible feeling in my gut!

Droid's commercials creep my out.  That "Droooid" noise scares me.  So I'm upset at your Droid AND the creepy commercials.

Sorry that happened but we've all messed up and most people in the demimonde respect each other's privacy and keep it all discreet.

Many hugs your way!
