saw a provider last week at a four-star hotel..called her for the location and she told me to call for the room number from the parking lot instead of the lobby when i got there..i said ok..i got to the room and she said did anyone see me..i was stunned at first and then i realized she was as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof..she said they gave her the once over when she checked in..asked her some impertinent questions..made her extremely nervous..we had our session and she was checking out the next day to go to another nearby hotel..question then for our touring ladies..do you always stay at the same chain when you travel? do some hotels and their staffs give you bad vibes? what do you look for in a hotel to make sure you are safe and comfortable?

You should never call from the parking lot or the lobby.  Simply circle the block once you get there and pull over, make the call and then go where you're going.  Please, don't stop and hangout!?!?
No better way to draw attention than to stop and ask for directions...we know, you guys NEVER do that.  So...you're super obvious.  Even more so than me in stillettos and stockings with seams at noon;)
Plus, anyone with half a brain might be watching while eating donuts.
The hotel should change.  The location should change.  And if any of you out there are making the 2nd call from the lot or lobby, please change that too.
Just my thoughts...Xo's

Instructions on how to proceed to the elevators when you enter the lobby. I always like to appear like I have a room. Upper end hotels are preferred, they can have lobby areas that are busy with patrons especially during early afternnon hours.

have freaking hearing problems and are like "What...2134 you said?" When you have 4 guys in 2 days saying that same room number all loud in the lobby, you start to get the hint. Guys always repeat the damn room number, so there is your answer baby doll. :)

Exactly. This is why I'm not surprised by the lack of intelligent discourse or poor reading comprehension of most clients on these forums. Common sense is not that common at all.

Yes that helps, or go to the hotel's website and most of them have photos or tours of the lobby, which should give you an idea where the elevators are. I recognize that not everyone has a smart phone or knows the hotel with enough notice to do so, but if you have the time, it's nice to be familiar with the layout of the lobby.

For me, my hearing is fine...it's the damn cell phones breaking up or not providing clear service.  Not to mention the ambient noises going on that you have to contend with.  Plus a lot of ladies may have accents, speak fast, etc.

and ask them for my room number by my hooker name!

Like they were going to be all helpful like a cab driver or something? Oh yeah that hooker is in room #111
Like they even knew my hooker name for gods sakes.

I think that's got to be my topper hotel story and of course it was in my home town, couldn't have been when I was traveling!

I had a situation where I called from the street.  The provider's assistant gave me the wrong room number.  No, I didn't hear it wrong.  She was very clear but I still repeated it back 2 - 3 times to make sure and it was confirmed.  The good thing is that the provider heard me knocking on the wrong door and stuck her head out the door with a 'pssssst, over here'.    It might have been an embarrassing situation if someone else was in the room or if it was a busy hallway but thankfully it was early and the wrong room I was knocking at was vacant at the time.  She apologized for the confusion and contacted her assistant about the mistake.

Commenting on the OP, I had another provider nervous as heck also, having me wait in the parking lot for about 15 minutes.  Apparently there was activity outside her door that was making her quite edgy and she had thought it best to warn me.  She was fearful that it was LE or perhaps hotel security but it turned out to be nothing and the session went on as planned.

The providers have always given me information to the elevator location so it's never been a problem.   As others have said, I just walk straight in, look as if I'm staying there, make no eye contact with the front desk, no looking confused, and basically do nothing to bring attention to myself.

I didn't repeat back the room number for clarification.  It would be so much fun to have a non- working woman answer the door and see how that ends up! Damn, maybe a hot time!!!

Hello,

So, what about a guy like me who is deaf? What am I supposed to do? Yell from my car?

No, I have a better idea... TEXT messaging. That way the room number is READ and not misunderstood by the hobbyist with the added benefit of the hobbyist not saying a word in the lobby.

That is assuming I already know the hotel name, which I normally do.  If you are early, it's always best to let her know, and ask if it's ok to come up early.  It's not always ok, she may need more time to get ready for you.

Regardless of the hotel, when you go in, you should know where the elevators are, and act like you belong there.  Don't be looking around like a lost puppy.  If a staffer says hi, answer them, don't ignore their greeting, but keep it short and keep moving.

that one might have to call from the immediate proximity to the lobby.  In my suburban setting, I prefer to arrive in advance (to be sure there are not traffic or weather delays).  Hanging around the lobby or parking WILL draw the attention of hotel security & patroling LEOs.
Once I got a serious  LEO hairy eyeball going in, but I was already out of my car & walking briskly to the entrance.  I immediately told my lady friend who said the hotel had requested additional patrols because of cars being broken into.
So once I locate the place, I withdraw to the corner coffee & I often call from my car at the coffee shop.  Once, I had a gal say "I can't see you" as she checked out the window...  I quickly explained I was across the street & we reached the door at the same time.

One Fav lady has stated the Hotel Owner has hinted he knows what is going on but doesn't care...  he's making money on her.  She tips the room staff well...  But higher volume gals have been asked to leave.

If one gets bad vibes, the lady should relocate.

always repeats back the room number out loud when you give it to them, and if they are in the lobby or halls, it's not smart. Call FROM INSIDE the car. I mean no one is going to assume you're calling a hooker for the room number. Millions of people are always on their cell in their cars every day. It looks normal.

That call for the room number gives us the chance to warn you if a maid is right by the door, if they are knocking, or if 3 cop cars just pulled up lol. It's not to create any more annoyance for you, but to be sure everything is ok at the time you arrive. People don't reazlie that a lot can happen in the halls during that 15 minutes we give you the hotel and you actually arrive. It is for mutual protection and sanity.

First, there's no guarantee the lady will answer the first time and I don't want to hang around inside with nothing to do. Secondly, I also can't recall ever getting the room number by phone call anyway. It's always been through text message. If I arrive more then a few minutes early, I just find someowhere close by to hang around.

Maybe it's because I'm divorced and very experienced dealing with law enforcement, but I find the level of paranoia here very amusing at times.

As a guy seeing a provider, you only have to go to one hotel that day and get one room number...we however, are the ones flying into a town and staying there for 3-7 days sometimes. Hotel staffs are not always that oblivious to what is going on and some are downright told to watch out for certain things. Having 8 guys in the span of 4 or 5 days repeat the very same room number out loud within hearing distance of the front desk, is a bit more than obvious...especially when the guy starts with "Hey (insert hooker name here) what is your room number?" If it were only ONE guy and the provider left, not a big deal at all but that is rarely the case. I don't ever use a hotel unless I am touring which means I am there for at least 3 days and nights.

It is the same reason I won't meet a guy in the bar and be seen walking up to the room or even on his arm leaving for dinner. I can only have so many Uncles in the same hotel before it's obvious I am a hooker. If I am seen with even one guy during my stay, that's a rap. The rest I will let go on before me and meet them in the car.

Again, very well stated. If you're not already running your own agency, you should be. A lot of working girls would do well to learn from you and follow your lead.
