Let’s face it if you get busted you’re fucked. You’ll be arrested yeah you’ll get out will be in misdemeanor charge at minimum unless they try to say it was an under age, even though you didn’t ask for it then it a severe felony and you’re even more fucked. First to go would be your job as they will find out and you will be fired and told to get the fuck out do not come back. And good luck getting another job cause it now is on your record. Next thing you know your car gets repo. You get evicted from your apartment now you’re sleeping on the sidewalk and you know why. So what other steps can you take to prevent getting busted? I already know a couple. First, which is the big one never contact a provider first one you see on the list on a lot of these so call escort sites without checking the history of that girl and the phone number. Better yet only contact providers that’s been reviewed on this site.. Next  scenario, let’s say you’ve seen a provider a couple of times and you want to contact her again but there’s a problem she just got busted and now the police has her phone now and you just sent a message. Hey I wanna see you again. They replied yeah go ahead. I’m at this hotel you show up in the police are waiting for you. You realize something’s not right and you try to walk away and I seriously doubt the police are just gonna let you walk. They’re going to detain you and start asking a bunch of questions. Or use this scenario a provider you seen in the past gets busted and your phone number is in her call history. Can the police do something about that? Either scenario, the police may not be able to prove anything, but still you run the high risk of your job finding out what you’re doing and make you unemployed.

At the start of all those American Greed episodes on CNBC, Stacy Keach explains how "He seemed like the Model Citizen, until his dark secrets caught up with him."
Or maybe you prefer a Dateline opening: "It was just another ordinary day in a peaceful suburb, and no one thought differently, but wickedness was coming to call."
Starting with an opening such as that might spice up an otherwise obtuse and pointless monologue.

Maybe post it in the Newbies section so the greenhorns can benefit from your sage wisdom? I'll be sure to keep an eye out.

I didn't read the OP's post for the reasons others have stated.  However, some new posters (OP has only been posting since March 8, 2026 -- a few days ago) don't know how the TER forum editor is, kind of, broken.
.
Most people expect a two carriage returns  [CR][CR] to leave a blank line WHICH IT DOES NOT ON TER BOARDS. (I should add that a TER [CR] is actually a combination carriage return + line feed [CR][LF].) When typing a post in the editing window using only [CR][CR], it APPEARS to have a line break between paragraphs but, once posted, it does not.
.
The two most common solutions to this problem are:
1. Use THREE [CR]s to leave a blank line / paragraph separation.
.
[CR]-1
[CR]-2
[CR]-3
Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. ...
.
2. The method that I and several others use is to insert any character, e.g., a period . ,  to force insertion of a line with a single non-distracting character that is otherwise blank.
. [That period forces a new line but there is usually no following text, so it appears blank.]
.
The immediate line above this one is just "." and then emptiness = pseudo-blank line.
.
NOTE: TER does not allow HTML characters so you can't use "less than"CR"greater than" as the normal symbol for [CR].
.
I hope that helps.

totally unreadable and nearly incomprehensible! Nearly painful... Maybe try reading what you have written before posting it?

I gather you are terrified of being caught, and have let your imagination run wild. Ease up, Dude.

You are not the big fish you imagine you are. The cops have zero interest in a setting up a major sting for little 'ol you. Being in someone's phone is not evidence of a crime, so relax; once again, the cops have zero interest in wasting their time harassing everyone in her phone - especially with zero evidence of a crime, especially for a lowly misdemeanor (which is most often the case).

You appear to be a newbie, so get your ass to the Newbie board and read a little bit. Put some effort into gaining knowledge that will help you learn "the ropes" and keep you safe. Meanwhile, stick to well-reviewed providers until you get educated and develop some applicable common sense and intuition.

I think your heart is in the right place, but this is more of a rant than a “how to”. Reading it was also much harder than it needed to be. Please use more punctuation, and separate by paragraphs.

I also don’t think it’s the best idea to openly discuss how to avoid LE in a public forum. Without saying too much, I will advise everyone to trust their gut! Most times the signs were clear as day but they ignored them.

And if we can’t discuss it here, on a forum specifically designed for clients to verify a p4p woman for both compatibility and legitimacy, where could we possibly discuss it?
.
Newbies and vets alike desperately need that info. I’m quite sure I avoided a bust, or at least greatly lowered my risk of one, because of the info I gathered here on tis board and on the Newbie Board when I first started. I don’t think “trusting your gut” is good advice, as we are often swayed by non qualitative factors into poor decision making when doing so. People new or newer to this lifestyle simply don’t possess that ability yet. It isn’t innate for the most part, as  it’s learned over years.
.
I have a process I go through where I vet the lady in question through reviews here (and elsewhere), researching the platforms she is on (p411, for example), contacting her reviewers, asking friends who may have seen her, viewing her online posts and social media, running her photos through online software, etc.
.
I didn’t come up with this on my own. I learned it from the many great people here over the years looking out for others best interests. It has served me very well and I thank them all, especially a few mentors that took me by the hand and led me thru the shark infested waters that existed, and still exists, in p4p.

Friend, I agree these discussions are very important! The difference is discussing it openly on a public forum. Sure.. let’s all give LE the cheat code on how we’re actively evading them! lol as if LE doesn’t also lurk and evolve based on the info they find.

I’m glad you have a process and it works for you! by that logic, there’s already plenty of accessible info out there (yet people still get busted). Being discerning is a huge part of what keeps you safe. I decline suitors who show signs of lacking it along with discretion, or argue about screening. Like I said, the signs are often there and people ignore them. I’m not saying don’t discuss it, I’m advocating to bring back common sense and don’t reveal your cards. We all need to do our part to protect our community.

I agree that we should talk about how to avoid police and how to deal with them. I used to watch videos on how to deal with coos and it helped me avoid getting busted with some weed in college. However I don’t think OP’s post has a lot of useful data.
.
These days, prostitution seems to be very low on the list of law enforcement priorities. In NYC the DA’s will not prosecute it, meaning it is de facto decriminalized. When there are busts they seem to be related to quality of life issues. If someone is running a brothel in a residential area and people/businesses complain, the cops are likely to bust it. In LI, they busted a prostitution ring run by a cop. My point is, busts or stings tend to focus on enterprises like brothels or agencies that draw too much attention to themselves.
.
If you’re worried about cops then avoid agencies, massage parlors and brothels. These seem to draw the most attention from LE and they are very likely to be holding and collecting your data. Stick to well reviewed independent girls. Be discreet and don’t draw attention to yourself. Using a burner phone helps to a degree. That should keep you out of trouble.
.
In the event you do run into police, just shut the fuck up. Do some research and watch some videos on how to deal with police. They’ll give you scripts on how to answer questions and move the conversation along. Cops are going to try to get you to answer questions by either threatening you or pretending to be your friend. Just shut the fuck up. You’re better off saying as little as possible. Don’t try to explain anything or make up any lies, for the most part just shut the fuck up. If they ask you why you’re in an area, just say it’s none of their business and you don’t have to answer their questions. Then shut the fuck up again. If you get arrested just shut the fuck up and let a lawyer handle it. If you say anything you’re likely to incriminate yourself or agree to a search. If you say nothing they have less evidence and your lawyer can get charges dropped.

Don't ever speak to the police. Some think they are slick and can talk their way out of it. Negative, Will Robinson. Just STFU and say nothing.
.
The odds of a bust involving a well established, pristine rep Indy woman is very, very small. Probably well under 1%. To make it a bit less likely, and we are talking fractions here, do outcall to a mid level or higher hotel inside the boundaries of a larger city but even then, it will still only provide slightly more risk mitigation.
.
That last idea is for the truly LE phobic but costs and other factors make that a non starter for many. Newbs with something to lose, see providers with many great reviews whose reviewers are very well established as well.
.
As added insurance, look for her to be on several other platforms like Tryst, p411, Slixa, etc while using a professional looking website. Scammers and LE just dont go to all that trouble to get you.

Police come busting in his room and arrested him and tried to throw the book at him when reality he probably got a little too close to the window, wearing khaki shorts, similar color to his skin color and some leftoid lady with green hair freaked out and got this guy in a whole lot of trouble. This pilot was fired, but later was able to get his job back after spending a whole lot of time and money on lawyers, but this goes to show you how fast as men can get in trouble. Let's be honest. If you have no experience why post bs?

I was arrested when I worked for an agency. The police do not go through your phone, nor do they contact your employers. It's a misdemeanor.

I paid my criminal attorney to have all charges dropped. LE does unscrupulous acts to entrap people.

As an independent contractor I have never had any issues when vetting my own potential clients.

Having a criminal attorney is always a good idea. In any city you frequent because the laws vary from state to state.  Unless someone is paying for your advice no need to give it. 😆 Your fukd if you agree with his post.

I called the police the police came, and because I had to put my hands on her restraining her I was arrested for domestic violence. I was put on 24 hour hold, but no charges for never filed. She did not press charges. 10 years later, I applied for a job at a school district thinking I should be good because there was never no charges filed let alone no convicted. When they did the background check, they found the arrest record and I was denied employment despite no charges ever filed.

It is a felony in Texas for the buyer even on a first offense. In many other states it is a felony for repeat offenders. Trafficking is a felony, as is under age, but I know you knew this.
.
Again not directed at you QB but whether or not it is a felony or misdemeanor can be meaningless as just the arrest, even without a conviction, destroys many lives. Of course the felony conviction carries with it potential jail time so that is a massive difference.

Yeah, the ripple impact can obviously be worse for some. An escort who is face out and open about it to her family and friends might feel a misdemeanor isn’t a big deal. Whereas, one who wants that part of her life private from family, friends, civi job, etc… has more at risk.

On the client side, same case. If you’re a client with nothing to hide, you have less to worry about. But many clients keep this part of their lives a secret. They have family, friends, jobs, wives/girlfriends that they don’t want to know about their escorting.

Of course, this all boils down to if getting busted gets back to them. But I’m sure it’s a risk no one wants to take.

1.  STFU.  That's right, don't answer any questions, just say you want to call your attorney.  Police questions may sound innocent enough but are designed to box you in and trap you.  The less you say (the optimum being zero) the easier it will be for your attorney to cast doubt on your guilt because he will not be limited by what you already admitted before he got there.

2.   Don't think you can outsmart LE.  So, no trying to explain things, even if they suggest that if you have a good excuse for why you are there, they may let you go, you STILL STFU!!!!!!

If arrested you need to answer routine booking questions like name, address, etc. but that's it. Once you say you want an attorney you're invoking your "absolute right to counsel" and questioning stops at that point whether you actually get an attorney or not.

Whatever you do don't give a false name because that's simply an addional charge.

In the vast majority of states the prostitution-related charge is a misdemeanor and unless you have a criminal record you'll probably be given a plea bargain deal and won't even see the inside of a courtroom after your arraignment.

As others have said, STFU when arrested. THE definitive information on this is discussed in a somewhat famous video (link below) made by James Duane, an attorney and law professor. He also has a book worth reading called "You Have The Right To Remain Innocent" - it's a short book and a quick read and in it he gives detailed examples of how innocent words can be used against you to bolster the prosecution's case. It applies to criminal charges in general, not specifically prostitution-related offenses.  It's well worth a read and is worth the 8 bucks Amazon charges for it. It's a real eye opener.

For most normal people, having to have a retainer with several attorneys is a waste of money. How many years will you wait before you ask for the return of your retainer? If you're in the habit of getting arrested maybe it's a good idea. But to keep thousands of dollars of your money tied up in attorney escrow accounts is a bit ridiculous.

You'd be better off doing research ahead of time and knowing you you'd call for legal counsel if needed.

This thread is about how to avoid getting arrested in the first place, other than completely quitting the hobbies altogether. Yes it’s just a misdemeanor in most cases, but here’s the biggest problem. Your job your livelihood your income all that goes away after an arrest. Society does not tolerate sex crime. Even a misdemeanor prostitution charge. Society will slam the book and crush you especially when older women are in charge. And more important a person like me don’t have thousands of dollars lying around to spend on a lawyer in an emergency. Especially knowing you’re gonna lose your income that’s the biggest problem in like I said in my earlier post yes you can very well wind up being homeless out the street sleeping on the sidewalk again. Society will not tolerate sex crime of any kind.

You're being a drama queen.

Most employers don't run regular background checks on you once you're hired. In many states an employer cannot even ask you about arrests or convictions during hiring.

You are obviously ignorant about the criminal justice system. Most misdemeanors and even felonies result in plea bargains leading to significantly reduced charges, especially when the defendant has no criminal history

If you're that paranoid then you need to take up knitting as a hobby and give up your cream pie habit.

Common sense and thinking with your big head let's you avoid stings and arrests, but I think most of us know that common sense is not so common.

In every state in the union, the employer can ask about convictions only, but many states don't allow it during the initial interview so maybe that is what you are saying.
.
As the interview process continues, they then can ask about convictions before offering you the job. Many states, however, do totally bar employers about asking about arrests that do not lead to a conviction.
.
In addition, an employer can run a background check on you but they need your consent to do so. That is federal law. But if you decline the check, the employer can then choose not to hire you based on your refusal.

You glazed over an important detail. This is not about their rates. This is about them being street walkers that essentially give you a car date. You’re not paying for their time, so there is no promise of an hour. You’re paying for a service. They will typically quote you rates for a blowjob, fucking, maybe even a handjob.

If you find a good indy lady at that rate, there is no greater risk. But the average $200-$300 lady is not an indy lady. She’s more often one of two things. An agency lady who is dealing in high volume, and part of a larger racket with many other ladies. These are mostly international ladies. Obviously, a bust of a huge racket is way more attractive for law enforcement.

The other is street walkers. I broke them down above. They tend to be watched closer by police. And, sometimes a policewoman will go undercover as one and bust every client who tries to pay her. Street walkers get raided occasionally.

Always prefer an indy lady. They come with the least risk.
