That is a good question. It depends on the man and also his budget for hobbying at the time that you would broach the subject. The monthly allowance sounds good and it also brings up a trust issue too. If someone has been seeing you and your credibility with him or her is solid then a monthly allowance would be a good way to go. This would be viable if it is feasible to the hobbyist because if he pays in bulk for his sessions he should be able to get a discount in terms of the amount that he would pay for a session.  Henceforth he wouldn't have to be nickled and dimed in a internecine fashion by the said provider.  This would also be beneficial to the provider because then she would get her money upfront and she can address her personal issues when it comes to business immediately.  Also this is key considering that both parties understand what their boundaries are in a relationship. This would be the best situation if the trust and understanding where there between the two parties involved.  The barter for goods and services could be extremely dicey because not everyone is unscrupulous and upstanding in their intent to honor what pacts where made between two parties. The question of monthly allowance is a good one if you have a trusting and long  relationship with the provider. Otherwise if in doubt, just go with the perfunctory hour.

All the rest sound too much like relationships.

I will keep it unanimous.  Keep it simple, hourly prevents misunderstanding as well as allow for  greater flexibility.

The guys here are not really looking for that, I don't think.  I know I'm not.  While I see some of my girls over and over again, I am not gonna commit to  a regular payment.  In fact, I told one of my faves that I have seen several times that I might not be able to see her every time she came to my area.  She was cool with that and understood.

So to answer your multiple choice question, my answer would be 'hourly rate'.

Variety is not a biggie to me, quality is.  If a fair arrangement can be found that takes away the clock, I am for it.  Pay ALL the bills sounds like she would be exclusive however, and that is not fair either.

I agree with the previous posts about most of the men who are members here at TER; they like variety and hence prefer the hourly payment arrangement.

Whether that be hourly, bi-hourly, four hour dinner date, overnighter.  Advance payment is generally considered as risky, and there are too many things that could go wrong, despite the best of intentions...

I do computer repair, repossessions and work as a bouncer....so...barter wouldn't work out for me...

so I am kinda forced into hourly.

is the only way to go for me.  Even there you can run into trouble.  I had regular visit with a Fav Lady...  after a while quality fell off & a break was clearly called for.  After several months, I went back & a better attitude was forthcoming.

there are those ladies who have captivated me... and for them??  maybe an extended contract... I like Mr. Fishers concept of prepaid multiple dates over a period of months.  Variety and some consistency... best of both worlds.

idea from the community which is
more suitable and it seems we have
more leaning towards the hourly
but also some who would actually consider
the monthly once he got to know and
trust possibly leading up to the
monthly one lump-sum payment.

Aside of that I feel that most men
feel if they get the finances out of
the way it makes him feel more at
ease too!

I threw in the barter as an added
perk for the guy who enjoys shopping
or prefers to use his credit card
instead.It has to be flexable indeed
it has to make sense to both people
involved and it has to fall into a comfort
zone for the two.

Well, for me hourly works best because, well I am very picky.  For me to consider something else, the lady would have to be near enough for me where it would make sense.  Otherwise, I am just giving money away.
