I've seen and heard this several times. Watch videos of "John Schools" where they have hookers talk to the guys. For the most part they hate our collective guts.

Really interesting 12 minute watch

Due to covid SXSW released some interesting shorts to watch online

Wow...I wonder if she is still a provider!

The penthouse review of the guy with ED made me chuckle tho.

I'll say this.

The woman lead is a pretty sexy, beautiful ex-escort. The mongers, however, are

1) an older guy who has ED and who's a liar
2) a rapist/near rapist (and BTW some truly abominable acting)
3) an ugly hairy dude

Could there be anymore predictable choices there, even considering the pov?  The mongers are always portrayed in a certain light. It's like, a normal person wouldnt ever monger and definitely would not write reviews... But normal people monger all the time, and escorts are the ones who need reviews as much as mongers because word of mouth only goes so far.

Even in family oriented sit coms the dad is always the idiot, why would you expect anything different in a video about review culture as told from the hooker POV?

I will concede the girl is VERY doable, but I completely agree the choices couldn't be any more predictable.

I do find it ironic that when  a guy exhibits misogynistic behavior on the boards he is almost always shouted down and tarred and feathered for his efforts, but when a hooker makes misandrist statements, barely a peep from the jellyfish here.

I would like to hear more providers talk about there thoughts on this.

Thanks for the link, and no surprises. I'm sure PTSD is high in the profession.

As BP said...no surprises. You'd have to be a damned fool to think one of these ladies viewed it any differently.

But, it still pretty sobering to hear it actually said.

Seems odd to think any group of women viewed anything identically.  Has that ever happened?

I imagine when it comes to ladies in this line of work...most if not all would have the same view as the lady in the video disclosed...

Probably true of service workers in general -- the public is a pain in the ass.  However everyone is human and can warm up to specific individuals.

That's a fair assessment, didn't think about that. If polled, I'm guessing the eneral service industry hates customers as much as hookers do.

There are some working women out there who like what they do.

To what extent is another story, but there are some girls out there like that.

That was the title of a documentary from 35 years ago about the porn industry. It made it sound as if they were dragging girls off the streets of Anytown, Iowa and gang raping them on film. Not exactly even handed. Ironically, within a couple of years of the documentary the porn industry went ballistic.

Look, I believe that lots of young women make bad choices that they later regret. Worse still there are a great many men who prey on women, in porn, in prostitution and IRL. Some of the shit I've seen in porn I wouldn't do to an enemy combatant.  And some of these girls end up damaged. And that's terrible. And don't get me started on guys who manhandle women without their consent. These guys aren't after sex; they're into intimidation and brutishness for their own sakes. Even in porn it seems like some of these guys genuinely hate women. And the people who consume that stuff? I'm not going to demand they stop but I'm not hanging around with them either.

On the other hand it's a big fucking yawn to hear a woman object to being "objectified" for rent-a-sex. Really? This surprises you? So you signed up for Miss America and you were shocked--shocked!--to be judged on how you look in a bikini? This is not a compelling argument. If a guy outright lies or reviews you even though you asked him not to, I understand your beef. But when it comes to exaggeration, isn't that an occupational hazards, like attorneys having to listen to another lawyer joke?  Seems to me this biz demands a tougher skin than worrying about some guy who claimed he made you orgasm 5 times. As long as the next guy doesn't demand or try to press you into something you're not comfortable doing; it seems you can always tell your new client "No--I won't put on a clown costume and fuck you while hanging upside down from the chandelier. The guy who said I did that was full of shit."
