Veronica,

It's likely they're not trying to steal from you.  I bet they're just incredibly inept.  You need to read them the "Payments by Internet For Dummies" book.

Don't be mad at them, just tell them they need to find another way to verify you.  Ask for a supervisor and be patient.  They're lost.

I had used for a while epassporte to get money from clients.  They solicited me and told me that there were there for the adult entertainment industry.     They always knew this, knew I had a client set up the account for me (so my real name didn't go out to my clients) and that I would be the one using the account.

Today they have suspended my account and will NOT return my money unless I fax them a copy, front and back, of the credit card used to open the account.   They never told me when I did this to always keep this credit card or they could suspend my account and never get my money back.  The credit card is no longer in existence and I cannot get my money back from them.

Oh, the "suspicious activity" that caused them to suspend the account?   I received money from two clients and tried to buy something over the internet from a computer with a different IP address than they had on file for me.  Now the two clients that sent me the money, this was not the first time that they had sent me money through epassporte.  The first time I had no problem.  I travel all the time and I don't necessarily have the same IP address any longer.

I would recommend that no one use epassporte unless they want their money suspended without notification.

Veronica
