It's your choice to pass and see someone else if your not happy with what she wants.

I don't offer 1/2 rates because I can't finish in an hour. But if I did I would have to work that much harder to finish what I started thus more than 1/2 of my hour rate would apply.

Most ladies do charge more than half of their normal rate for 1/2 an hour with good reason.

Everyone has their own way of marketing themselves or doing things...its noones business. There are plenty of ladies and clients around so we can all be happy. Nothing to stress over.

What works for one might not work for another.

with the economic downturn I'm making half what I made at this time last year (not as a provider).  Because of that, I have been looking on Backpage as the rates seemed to be lower.

I've have made three appointments on Backpage.  One was a great time.  The other was so so and the third was a up-sell rip-off.

The time it took for checking on Backpage for multiple women listed under the same number which is usually not a good sign and culling out the probably scams by making calls to Backpage numbers and feeliing out the woman on the other end of the phone regarding the pics being real and it being all inclusive with no up-selling was very time consuming in that many of the girls just hang up on you because the know your on to their scam.  Most the time you're not even talking to the woman that shows up.  I've found most of the Backpage talent to be the skanky stripper type with the obligatory "Sugar Daddy" tattoo on the tramp stamp triangle of their back.

While my odds on Backpage $250/hr appts. is 2 positive for one negative at a $200 loss. I'm sticking with the tried an true non-backpage providers.  To me, it's just not worth the trouble of getting burned 33 percent of the time.

If they got positive TER reviews with the reviewer having several posts over a number of years with provider names I know, then I might see 'em.
