Not sure about what your asking, but I know a lot of providers take advantage of the time and money that the hobby allows them to go back to school and earn their degree.  Kind of the reverse of what your asking.

Affirmative Scarlett!  I was too wild in college back in the day to even think about taking money for that kinda fun. It wouldn't have been the same. I wish I knew about strip clubs then although not too many of those in Maine. (Go Black Bears!) Anna

I am the worst speller but I love short cut words... (I had to write it that way cause I can't spell acronyms omg)  or however it's spelled.(spelt)

My point is, I don't think anyone is above or beyond the 'experimental' stage. No matter what age they are.

Of the providers I've seen, all have completed their undergraduate degrees and about half have completed their graduate degrees. The remaining half are saving up to go back and finish their graduate degrees.

I can't speak to when they started; because I don't give them the "when did you start doing this?" line of questioning.

However, I would not be surprised to discover that certain aspects of prostitution-positive third-wave feminism that one encounters in college had an influence in some cases.

If you have lived in or near a college town you may read stories every now and then about college prostitution rings and such. When it happens at the "elite" Ivy Leagues it tends to attract more headlines (newspapers, magazine articles (from Playboy to Atlantic Monthly), and books) but even then you might have to look at the college newspaper websites rather than the Associated Press or local newspapers to find info.

Published stories are mostly about those who have been "outed" or even "busted". I can't think of any stories that follow up to see if they resume "that kind of life" afterwards. There must be others who started in college that never made the news and simply graduated and moved on.

There are at least two providers who post to the NY Board that mention their Ivy League roots but neither says whether they started in college or just soon after.

My experience has been that a lot of providers have college degrees both graduate and undergraduate.Whether this is the courtesin  tradition or not is an interesting question? Nonetheless, it reflects the reality that more women get degrees than men and perhaps the reality of opportunities for  women in the workforce.

it was a pretty typical textbook analysis. mostly negative and completely inaccurate.

we sneered at the girls in college who did "exotic dancing" and labeled them skanks.

they were not welcome in any of the sororities.  

feminists are mostly anti-prostitution.

so are snooty college girls.

i didnt start escorting until after college when it became clear to me that i didn't like working.

i wish the feminists would just shut up already.

In general (though there are some exceptions) I believe feminism to be a destructive and divisive philosophy predicated on trying to transplant theoretical Marxist class-warfare into family life for purposes of creating greater reliance on the state by making family less reliable.

I did. I started my sophomore year of college and worked for 2 months. Quit, finished my bachelor's, then the economy took a turn for the worse.. so I decided to stay in school!

Do I wish I was smart enough and sexually mature enough to handle this bussiness in college!  I love it!  I just entered this business at 30 ;(  Kudos to the ladies in their 20s and are successful at it.  Can I go ten years back....lol

FYI, providers in college are of all ages.  I am currently a full time student but have spent most of my provider years holding down a real white collar job and dabbling in erotic adventures on the side.

As for the comment that some ladies have been in college for 10 years, this might include me.  I am currently working on a second degree, and positioning myself for an advanced degree within a newly chosen and exciting field.  I plan to integrate my professional work experience and other academic endeavors in order to enter a new profession and possibly for entrepreneurial opportunities.   I have spent many years in school because after completing an initial degree I have attainted several certifications.

Learning is a life long process, as is experimentation.  The day my curiosity sand playfulness ceases to be will be the day I stop breathing.

Thought I'd clear this up for some of you since there seems to be some general ignorance expressed in this thread.

I've met a lot of students in a couple college towns I frequent.  Surprisingly they're often the better students. Pays a lot better than most typical student jobs so they work fewer hrs and it doesn't cut into study time.

Some stopped after school, some didn't.

My current ATF is in college - she told me she actually started providing because it helps her with her studies by having more free time rather than having to hold down a regular job with regular hours. And frankly I LOVE the fact that she's studying - it's nice to see someone who can hold their own in bed AND in a smart conversation since I have a postgrad degree myself (we were talking about the History channel one time even lol). Honestly she turns me on like no other lady I've seen BECAUSE she's smart AND beautiful.

Her rates aren't cheap but I think of it as my own way of helping a smart young lady get through her schooling :)
