Then how is a sex worker's HIDDEN camera about her safety? Cameras in public areas is never really an issue. It's the camera recording you doing an illegal act in private that puts in cuffs.
I recently went to see a reputable lady with about 2 pages of good reviews. I had a good time, and before I left, I remember thinking I'd like to see her again. The apartment is kind of a studio, with a small bedroom or alcove bedroom. When you walk in, the kitchen is two feet in.
When we were saying our goodbyes, basically in the pass through of the kitchen, I saw something move out of corner of my eye. We're talking, I take a step back towards the door, and again I see something move. This time I turned my head toward the kitchen to see what it was, and there is a mounted camera in a 3"x5" white rectangle, facing us. When my head turned, it moved again. She asked if I was freaked out and I said YES. She then said "it's just for my safety, and it doesn't record". I don't think I responded, but I was thinking, if it doesn't record, how does it help her safety? I was pretty stunned, and walked out the door.
That got me thinking about if there were other cameras in the room, and how often they are in other apartments. It really has me re-thinking ever doing an incall again.
I'm fairly new to this, and my first time I was concerned about cams, so I booked a room and scheduled an outcall.
Since then I stick to well known girls with a lot of reviews, and I don't worry about it. That doesn't mean it won't happen, but I mind my manners and don't give them a reason for concern.
I always assume that any woman who uses her residence as an incall might have cameras around.
A woman I had seen a few times who is Florida based told me right off the bat that she has a Ring doorbell and a camera in her kitchen and we'd have to walk past it to get to the bedroom. I was comfortable enough with her to not worry about it.
If she were to subtly draw attention to its presence at the start (and not volunteer that 'it doesn't record'), it could be a deterrent.
I’m not buying it doesn’t record. A camera that doesn’t is a fake camera or a toy. Like you said, what’s the point? What does a dummy camera do for her safety? Now I might buy that she doesn’t keep the recording, and perhaps that’s what she meant. If she’s a legit provider, she likely wouldn’t want to risk losing her clients by doing anything with said recordings. But yeah, I wouldn’t feel great about it.
I do not entertain at my private residence. I utilize Wyze to monitor my home it records. I would assume most people have cameras. Ring cam is very popular. Anytime a crime happens the first thing people look for is cameras. Who had one and who's recording?
Just assume anytime you step outside your getting recorded.
I’m not familiar with Wyze, but most people use Ring to monitor outside. An outside security camera is very common. I wouldn’t have any concerns about one. What the OP described sounded like an inside the house camera. That’s a little more concerning.
I don’t do in-calls unless I’ve meet the provider before. They want all kinds of information from you but don’t want to reveal anything about themselves. You need to protect yourself.
If she’s a legit and reviewed provider like you said, you have nothing to worry about. It’s a safety measure - you’re on camera every time you leave the house whether you know it or not. She’s not risking her reputation or brand by leaking a video of you walking in the living room.. can’t say if she’s telling the truth if it worked, only she knows. Highly doubt she’s a weirdo that has a camera where the action takes place though.
Whether you see it or not, you should ALWAYS assume each provider has a method to protect themselves. I don’t mean to sound harsh.. but if you don’t like it and schedule an outcall, you still can’t guarantee they won’t have options. Not saying your concern isn’t valid! I hear you, I just think you’re speaking one-sidedly and not trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Most women genetically cant fight off even a small - average size man. Sorry it spooked you, but a safety net is important just like your discretion. Security cameras statistically deter crime.. and it’s a lot more professional than having a gun mounted to the wall
Then why not be forthright and say to a potential client when they book? Hey I’m filming for my protection. You know damn right her business would drop. It’s deceitful and a bunch of shit.
I can understand your point without cursing. I acknowledged OP’s feelings in my original comment.
Have you also considered she was telling the truth? If the camera is just a deterrent and doesn’t work, maybe that’s why she didn’t offer up the conversation.. bc she’s not even filming! Either way, she answered OP when asked. It’s very naive to assume providers don’t have other methods that you CANT see. I doubt her intentions are nefarious or deceptive otherwise the camera would’ve been hidden. In this case, I can see both sides.
Switch it around. You visit a client he has what looks like a camera. Oh it’s not recording . You good with that? I bet you aren’t.
You’re ignoring all my other points and skipping straight to “what if” scenarios.
The difference is when a client intends to record a sex worker the camera is hidden, their reasoning is never about safety, and the intent is alot worse than an uneventful walk to/from the living room. Comparing apples to oranges when it’s not the same.
You’re also missing the point. Regardless of the providers intent, it is still a risk to the client to be on camera. Nobody wants to be on camera while committing an illegal act or potentially cheating. It doesn’t matter if a provider is well reviewed either. There have been plenty of well reviewed providers that took a turn for the worst, either due to substances or a change in heart. I’ve heard a lot of stories of well reviewed providers doxxing clients, harassing clients or trying to extort clients. Even if the provider has the best intentions it is still a risk. If a provider gets caught, LE could comb through recordings or photos to get evidence against clients.
.
I’m not naive about this either. I’m pretty sure that I have been on camera plenty of times while visiting a brothel or private incall space. That doesn’t mean I’m 100% comfortable with it.
I didn’t miss the point - reread both my comments. I acknowledged a clients pov, but also acknowledged as a provider.
With that said, why beat a dead horse? If you’re paranoid then don’t leave your house for incall, or host an outcall.. actually don’t hobby at all. There are cameras everywhere even if the provider has no connection.. the hotel hallways, traffic cameras, parking lot cameras, etc LE can access. Enough with “what if’s” and uncommon stories you heard. I absolutely understand why you might feel uncomfortable, but my point is both sides are valid so if that upsets you, not participating is always an option.
I’ve said my peace.

If a prostitute is recording her tricks and gets busted, seems to me an open and shut case for LEO against HER. Also, how does the recording of the session protect anyone? So she can go to the police and explain how her trick robbed and beat her? I suppose, but isn't she running the risk of being charged with prostitution? BTW, your camera is either being recorded or Bruno is watching in the next room.
damn right she could (and should) go to the cops - and bring the film. They would have zero interest in her business and a lot in her abusive client.
Maybe wear a mask to and from the bedroom? I don't tend to see providers who work out of their residence, but I'll remember this post if I do.
in that situation. How I'd react would depend upon the person, our rapport and the circumstances. Trust and Safety are two sides of the same road - and the road goes both ways.
at residential incalls, but only in the parking areas. I had one regular who saw customers in her home and instructed them to park in the driveway, where she could see them on a CCTV monitor in her kitchen (next to her knife block - Lol) getting out of their cars and heading to the front door, but never had a camera I knew of inside an incall.
Just wondering if anyone else had this thought. I've met ladies with specific phone reporting protocols that led to them texting when I was in the room. Seems like a possibility that some may have someone electronically monitoring while you are there also. It would seem they should inform the client if this is the case, but it also wouldn't surprise me if they don't say anything about it.

Texting that a client is there is a lot different than recording a client. For her safety my ass.
Why? Because you only knew about it because she was careless in her placement of the camera. There are probably dozens of cases where the camera was artfully hidden and the client knew nothing about it. So I find it pointless to worry about this.
You shrug. Meanwhile, you just triggered the paranoid guys to want to act against such treason.
I'm not responsible for anyone's paranoia. I simple pointed out the obvious. To not understand this is naive.
It is not just private residences where a provider may have a camera. Anyone who visits a hotel runs the same risk of being monitored/ recorded. There are many sites you can buy quality spy cams that can be very well hidden. You would never know until it shows up on an episode of America's Funniest Home Videos.
Cameras are everywhere---including in hotel rooms----that is a good thing as far as I am concerned---as long as you don't do something stupid---act weird---etc....the camera can offer protection against a hustle....I have been doing this for a long time all over the world......I have never been knowingly protected by a camera but there have only been 2 examples in which anyone tried to hustle me---one was in Jacksonville, Florida---where as soon as the girl came into my room there was a sudden knock at the door---her "Driver---Boy Friend-Husband-whatever----tried to extort me---by telling me he was going to tell lots of people what I was doing with the gal etc....actually nothing had taken place at all---he was way to ahead of himself---too nervous----could have been his first effort.....he needed to wait about ten minutes before vigorously knocking at the door---the 2nd was in Phoenix, Arizona....I called an escort service--they were to send a girl out at a certain time---she no showed----so I waited for about 15 minutes and called back---kinda got a run around----she'd be there soon---on the way----another no show ------about 10 minutes past the time I was told she would be there----came a knock---I answered the door---kind of a middle aged woman---looked like perhaps a realtor in her manner and dress---just started acting extra weird----telling me to be patient etc......well I escorted her ass out of the room-------escort never showed up---this was a real surprise this gal showed up......I did have another incident in Tampa, Florida where I went to the room as instructed and I always check out the room---room had an adjoining room and I noticed the door was ajar on our side----I simply closed the door---my thought being that the boyfriend-husband-handler was in the next room either as protection or to whack me alongside the head---but I have noticed camera's in a number of "Brothel Type Setups" ---there is one in Lawrenceville, Georgia (oriental) that I went in and they had the TV on and the girl had forgot to switch it to TV from monitoring the parking area --so there cameras had complete outside coverage and if you were to look carefully you will see where even small cameras are hidden away...I fully understand why they all would go to what might seem like extreme measures but they are all operating illegal business's and they need to know who their cliental is and what they may be doing in a "Private" room....the gal may be getting extra tips or going through your wallet and if challenged they need to protect themselves---I would do the same if I was operating it! So figure if you are there---you are being observed---!!
