I'm guessing it's because of the higher than average income level here. Between the government workers, defense contractors, consultants, and IT type services, there's a lot of disposable income floating around.

The DC metro area (referred to as "the DMV" which I find annoying) has a pretty sizeable population, like any large metropolitan area with lots of hotels.  

 
None of the ladies I have seen have ever mentioned anything about government employees as clients, although they may not necessarily know. Maybe you're reading too much into it.

This area is popular with traveling providers because the hobbyists for the most part can afford it.  Some of the surrounding counties (Montgomery-MD, Fairfax & Loudoun-VA, Alexandria) are all affluent and not just because of the gubmint workers, rather the more lucrative gubmint contractors that reside here.

A $600+ to $2k gal can easily make it worth her time to visit this area.  Many popular regular gals actually don't even live her, but come in several times a year and it is always worth it for them.  I'm talking about gals coming in from GA, FL, NY, and even CA.

Tyson's is best for parking, Metro access, and shopping.  DC sucks because of their idiotic taxes.  MD isn't as good as VA because of their frequent law enforcement on the hobby.

DC ranks 20th in population, so that’s only a partial explanation.  What matters more is that DC is a government based city, essentially recession proof. And the counties surrounding DC rank among the Top 10 in average income. I think it’s the fact that there’s more disposable income here than most other metro areas that accounts for the higher density of escorts.

I would venture to guess that the lobbyists and the money that they have to spread around to influence lawmakers plays a factor in how desirable a location it is for providers.

The guys in DC spend a lot of money on discretion and women. I’ve never seen money go out the window faster anywhere in my life than in DC and I’m a Vegas frequent flyer.  

I’m a new member here but I’ve been a lot of places and spent time with a lot of sexy women. One of my favorite body types are spinners, if anyone has any details on some good ones, that’s something I’d travel for.
