I'd be surprised if many steady hobbyists would be willing to part with a credit card number...still I suppose you could try Paypal or CCbill

I have recently been looking for an merchant credit card processing company online. But most of them say that they will not provide service for Adult content business and websites. Does anybody know anyone good???????

I think it would cause more headaches than is worth, plus it is a Huge Paper Trail!

I agree with Kelly.

We accept credit cards for video and DVD sales through our online store but not for personal appearances.

The chargeback hassel is too high.  If you get a chargeback you get hit with like a $40 fee.  So you have to pay to get screwed twice.

Agencies will accept cards because if someone tries to pull a fast one they can send Cousin Vito and a few of his pals over to discuss the matter.

IMHO cash is still king.  Plus, if I see an escort takes credit cards, I assume she is actually with a service.  Plus plus, there is an clear paper trail.  Not good.
