Besides the potential for being ripped off, what are the risks of using craigslist from the hobbiest's point of view. I am in an area where there are not alot of providers, and occasionally a craigslist girl looks inviting but I see alot of negative stuff regarding CL on the boards.

Lots of action by Uncle LEO, at least in my area.  Or so we are told.

I often go "slumming" on Cl, but I have to admit, your chances of an LE sting are much, much higher on CL than any other escort mall, such as Eros, CityVibe, etc.

Be careful, be very careful.

14bcups, in my area (Orlando), Craigslist has a very active erotic board but the majority of ladies who post are very young (teens to mid 20's).

Also, it appears the majority of the ladies who post on the Orlando board advertise much lower rates than the ladies one finds on TER or EROS.  My feeling is that means the quality offered is not nearly as high as is offered by the ladies on TER or EROS.

I know some very successful and attractive ladies who began their provider experience advertising on CL.  It did not take them long to realize they would be much more successful using other means to advertise.  

You may be able to find a diamond in the rough on CL from time to time.  CL just seems in many ways to be the entry place for both providers and hobbyist, at least in Central Florida.

I too live far from the big city, and if you look at my reviews you'll see a number of CL girls over the last year or two.

I got ripped off once (not robbed - she took the money and then refused to perform, I kicked her out rather than have a scene). I had a couple of mediocre sessions and a couple of really good ones. I also responded to an ad, then got a very bad vibe once at the hotel, and bolted.

There are real girls on CL, and some real gems sometimes. But even among the "real" girls, many are stealing photos. There are also a lot of druggies, scams, and dangerous people.

Do as much research as you can. Don't put yourself in a position where you could get hurt. Don't give out too much information about yourself, unless you determine the provider to be legitimate through research on other sites. Don't be one of those idiots who posts on CL asking "anybody got a review on so-and-so?"
And keep your expectations low - that way, when you find a good one, you'll have a great time.

constitute the rough that hides the diamonds.  There are some real gems that advertise on CL, but you have to weed through the old time pimps turning out desperate girls, LE stings, and ladies turning to the hobby for a short term solution to long term problems.

Getting through that rough to find the diamonds can be very daunting and holds much more risk than the sites that have well reviewed providers.

Would a girl who was willing to cross state lines be less likely to be related to uncle LEO

Is "she" really crossing the line, or is she simply using her uncle's phone with a different area code?

I have asked a couple of reviewed providers to cross state lines and neither have is there some thing in the water?

Crossing State lines = federal jurisdiction?

I would only use CL if you have experience to see through the BS. Always search the phone number on a review site and google. Research is key. Sometimes you will see a well know TER provider post on CL with discounts.

I occasionally advertise on cl. I try to be careful in regards to LE, but it's not all bad.

LE stings and rip-off posts abound!  Why waste your time, when TER ladies are a virtual guaranty??
