I just tried to log onto Eros using Chrome and got a message that it was blocked for now, as  Google had detected malware that could infect computers, including Macs.

Happens to practically every site running advertisements nowadays.  The sites selling the ad space don't have 100% control over the ads, sometimes ones with malicious code make it through.  That seems to be what happened in this case.  Eros tweeted that they're aware of the issue and are working to get it cleaned up.

I contacted our admin and they informed us of the EROS issue.
Their opinion was that the 3rd party had an issue in coding an it triggered responses from the better browser.s (enjoy using ie) but there was no reason to be alarmed. Hence, EROS took a hit on visitors during this episode.
