You've seen a Doctor right?? You have been seen by a urologist to rule out any other possible causes for erectile dysfunction right? You have talked with a Doctor about the potential risks of taking an ED medication, and the Doc has given you a clean bill of health, right?? Right??

After checking me out thoroughly inside and out (so THAT is what a prostrate exam is!), the good doctor came to the conclusion that my wife wasn't doing enough to turn me on.
Well, duh.
"That's all well and good," I explained to the doctor, "but the woman with whom I was unable to perform was not my wife."
After pondering this new bit of information for about three seconds, he wrote me a prescription.
Bingo!..... ok pardon my small rant about internet 'scripts first of all you are running a huge risk of rip off and getting god knows what (if you are lucky it will just do nothing if your not it might even be harmful) second anyone who hobbies ought to have a well trusted physician with whom he or she is totally honest about their hobby status (ie one who will do all the regular blood work ups without having to be told to do so or trying to talk said patient out of them as overkill) and third once you have a trusted doc they should NEVER write you for e.d. meds you dont need (want and need are two different things your doc should only 'scribe what you *need* not what you want, be it antibiotics, sleep aids, pain meds or e.d. treatments ...beware of those who practice otherwise.....ok I'm off the soap box now
I dont mean it as a lecture....maybe just a reminder that taking drugs that you do not actually need *IS* abuse (and is also dangerous)....some folks seem to gloss over that fact
I'm up front with him about everything. He does some "off the record" blood tests at my annual exam. I told him that my performance is "ok" but things are a little softer than I'd like - and he explained how, at my age, that's normal. I take 1/2 of a Cialis and it works perfect - and I've had no side effects.
You do need a doc that you can level with - remember they have a confidentiality pledge - unless you come down with AIDS (shudder).
But taking any ED drug without anyone knowing your real health history and condition is not good.
Get a good doc - and a lot of them hobby too! Or get it free from the nurses
