so why should the younger people (ill include myself in that since im 28) pay more.  its bad enough that i'm single so i'm getting hosed on taxes, because apparently having crumbsnatchers gets you a deduction..now ill have to pay more for my hobby.  Id go for a Flat Tax across the board

How to balance the budget

I think we could balance the Federal Budget if we taxed sex. Everyone would pay their share. Young people would pay more taxes and your tax liability would decrease as you got older. (some of us)

It would also promote family values. How would you like to come home to your wife and have her ask, "Honey, why is your tax bill larger than mine?" Or be a teenager and come home to your dad with your tax tax bill in his hand.

We wouldn't have to pay people to work for the IRS, they would be paying to work there just so they could review peoples returns. Locker room conversations would change... "Get a load of this tax bill!"

The forms would change a little also. We would now have a 1040Quickee.

And it would give a whole new meaning to the phrase.. "Substantial penalty for early withdrawal."

I live in a small town near Reno.  As we all know 'it's legal in Nevada'.  Well, sort of.  It's not legal in Reno or Vegas, but counties can and do legalize it...and tax the hell out of it!

Both Lyon (where I live), and Storey counties allow legal brothels.  Storey county has one cathouse (that I know of), about 8 miles east of Reno, while Lyon county has at least 4, about 12 miles east of Carson City.

Each of these counties derives about 1/4 of it's budget from brothel taxes.  Pretty lucrative, huh?

True enough, a typical brothel experience won't be as good as a well respected indie, and it'll cost alot more, but it seems to me as though a few other states/counties, etc. could learn a thing or two here!

I agree. Like Geroge Carlin said, selling is legal, sex is legal. Selling sex should be legal!

Same can be said about casinos. The tax money generated would help local and state governments so much ... but most people don't want that 'eliment' (whatever the hell that means,) in their backyards.

I'm all for it! Build one across the street for all I care. It'll provide jobs, bring in tourism dollars and the tax revenue to boot.

'Mo money 'mo money

I don't even live there and I know of at least three legal brothels between Reno and Fernley.  Don't you get out much?

One (that I know of).....And to answer your question, yes, I do get out; just not to legal brothels much anymore.  Why should I?  I can get twice the session for half the price with a well reviewed indie.   BTW, what are their names, one is the Wildhorse, what are the other two?  One might be the Old Bridge, I don't know if it's still there or not.

Modified for spelling, I can't even proofread right anymore. lol.

I vote for a flat tax too ... don't take it all out on me, I said I came across it. Not my words or thoughts.

sorry....all this tax talk gets me fired up.  I wouldnt mind putting a little extra down, but a little part of me likes the fact that it is "forbidden" by polite society.  like im doing something other people are too scared to do but would if they could

I think a lot more people do it than admit to it too.
