I think you are right not to see anyone with no reviews because you have no idea what's really on their menu or what kind of session they deliver.  The only way I'll see someone with no reviews is if they come highly recommended by someone I know and respect.  I've done that on several occasions and it's worked out well.  That said, I've also seen providers with no TER reviews but who were reviewed elsewhere.  Those reviews are often not as reliable or as detailed as TER reviews so you need to get other feedback as well.

Signed up for Date Check a while back.  I figured it would make my life easier.  I see a lot of interesting providers, but many don't have any TER reviews.  My rule has always been only providers with at least four reviews, and only good reviews.  Sometimes there are reviews on other sites, but I ignore them and assume that TER is the gold standard.

Is a provide being "verified" through Date Check as good as having four TER reviews?  I'm not so worried about a provider having poor performance.  More worried about LE, getting mugged, attepts at blackmail, etc.

P411 is good and they verify carefully.  So if someone is registered there it's a good thing.  TER reviews are different.  If you know how to read them they are valuable, but TER doesn't screen the way P411 does.  It's a different thing.  You need to use both of them together.

and also keep in mind that there is quite a bit of fake reviews on other sites. I can think of one off the top of my head that most ladies had their profiles taken down for fake reviews (good or bad).

You are right.  But there are fake reviews here, too.  Sad to say, it's part of this game.  That's why you need to stick with well reviewed girls, so if there are a few fake ones you can still find reliable reviews by people you can trust.

My first "mobile" phone (They weren't even called celled phones back then.) had a dial, not a keypad.  Honest!

It was bolted to the floor of my Chevy Caprese.

I didn't dare use it for hobbying however, each month the phone company would send a bill in with every number dialed listed, and the charges (~$2/minute, plus a $1 connection charge, plus any long distance tolls incurred.)

but my first mobile phone had a forty pound battery and cost me about four grand, it too was bolted to my 84 Eldorado, which was brand new at the time. I think those brick phones came out about three years later.

It was funny, no one could believe I was actually calling from my car, I had to honk the horn for them to believe me.  My how far technology has come.

A few of my clients won pieces of some of the licenses and made fortunes, I did rather well for myself as well.

I remember AT&T completely missing the boat on cell phones, they put out a forecast that there would be about 900,000 cell phones by the beginning of the 21 st century, oh well, I guess being off by a decimal point or two is forgivable. lol

It's a worthy cause but I told the ex that things like that could become valuable to collectors some day, and I bet they do when I'm ready to retire.  They would have made a nice little nest egg.

I can still remember the first time someone called me on that old Motorolla phone bolted to the car.  I pulled over because I thought the rear axel was separating from the drive shaft - that's how loud and cacophonius it was.  It took a while before I realized it was the phone.  I picked up and it was the boss.  He said:  "So, how do you like being a big shot now with your own mobile phone?"   I told him there wasn't much of a future in these things.  

Don't take stock tips from me, by the way.

I guess I'm still not sure why no TER reviews.  It seems like Date Check markets itself as a verification service with only solid providers and honest hobbyists.  I'm just confused about providers without TER reviews.  I get that there are "UTR" providers.  But if you're on Date Check, you're not UTR.  And if you're even a little established, shouldn't you have reviews on TER?  Then some of them don't have websites either.   I guess I've refused to see any providers off of Eros that didn't have TER reviews, and I feel like I should have the same policy with Date Check.  

I guess I'm curious as to what people out there do, and advise.

I think that date check is more of a service that provides the guy with "references" for the provider.  Not so much that it is a service that markets providers.  I am a member of date-check and a lot of the providers that are listed for my home town actually retired years ago anyway.  They sure could stand to clean up the list of active providers.  In any event, you have to cross reference the providers listed there with TER to find out their reviews, since date-check doesn't provide any guarantee that the providers are well reviewed anyway.  They only guarantee that these women are in fact legitimate providers, all the providers need are guys to vouch for them that they are in fact providers, and then they are in with date-check.  In conclusion, this is a service that is really only useful to prove to a provider that the guy has "references" from other providers.

Though it's true that is a major function for them.  They also have a very useful search function so you can find providers in your area (or any area) who are available.  Date-Check even has a calendar feature the tells you the dates on which your favorite providers are available in a given area. And you can use their PM function to reach them.  In addition, some providers offer a discount to members who use the PM function to contact them.  Finally, most providers' profiles have links to their reviews.
Perhaps your problem is because of the area in which you live.  I'm in a large metropolitan area and it's quite different.

There could be many reasons for no reviews on TER.  The provider retired and had them removed & datecheck is terrible about removing inactive providers.  Or, the provider is on another review site.  I have found that there are regions of the country where other sites are more popular than TER.  While I agree TER is the standard, I wouldn't discount the other sites.  

As far as your main concern of LE, rip offs, etc.  Date check & the other verification sites answer this question for both parties.  That they are legit and not LE or a scam.  They do not provide more than that.  There are legitimate providers listed on these sites that use outdated and air brushed pics to market themselves in the best possible light.  

The review sites exist to give even more insight into the providers beauty and performance while verifying that they are legit.  That way you know a little more about what to expect when she opens the door & what will take place BCD.  

You don't really need the verification sites once you get established, but I find that by using them along with TER (or another review site if I need to) I get what I am looking for and am always satisfied.

Love it!  Not sure I spelled it exactly the same way.  Agree with your post, too.  Girls screen in many different ways and some prefer P411 or DC for that.  So as a member of both, it just makes screening faster in some cases.  Compared to what I spend a year in this game, the cost is inconsequential.

and I agree with the both of you. I don't really have much experience with Date Check, but P 411 is well worth the few bucks it costs to join. In many parts of the country it's the primary way that most girls screen. Personally I hate to bother ladies that I have seen for a reference, the verification services eliminate all that and you can be screened and good to go in just a minute or two. Beats the hell out of waiting for your references to check out.

I have never been to P411 site or any verification  sites .  I've seen over 50 TER providers  with no rip offs , cash and dash , or muggings .
  All I need are  TER reviews and an actual photo with light airbrushing .
 Some of us can find success with less than most  , some need more .  :-D

  No one can screen with more reliability  than  providers that have  seen the John in person .

They don't want the admission of guilt in black and white on the internet or they don't like the climate of a hobby review board.  Some ladies only do this part time, have real careers and don't want to be outed by reviews.  Lots of reasons why some ladies legitmately don't want reviews.

No provider can stop anyone from reviewing her.  She may certainly discourage reviews, and I would honor that -- unless she provided such a terrible service I felt guys should be warned about her. But the only way a provider can be kept from being reviewed here is if she doesn't meet TER's criteria.

Similarly, can somebody explain a provider who is on P411 and has dozens of non-TER reviews, but nobody has added her to TER?  I generally treat TER as the absolute source of truth, but it always seems odd that no hobbyist on here has seen/reviewed some of the girls who have many, many reviews on other sites (pithy, largely useless reviews, but still...).  

What's the explanation?

I see you have hobbied in Dallas, Dallas is one of those cities where TER has never really caught on and the review base there is rather limited.  

In many other cities, Atlanta, Vegas, NYC, just to name a few TER is THE place to go, just not in certain other areas of the country.
