I go out to my garage and strip and trim them the best I can and then put my clothes back on open the garage door and get my leaf blower and blow the pubis away. I"m not clean shaven but trim and ready.
Lather it up baby, and use a razor. I don't suggest electric, the long hairs can get yanked. The more you shave, the softer it eventually grows back in. You'll get over the itchy part too.
Great marketing, the videos are pretty funny. I bought one about 3 months ago. It was not a pleasant experience using it. I found it chaffed my skin quite badly and it has some poorly located metal teeth at the edge of the cutting head. YMMV, but I didn't care for it one bit.
For your balls and shaft, begin with scissors to get the hair down to a manageable length, if necessary. Then use a high quality shaving gel (go to the men's counter at a department store) and a brand new razor. Work slowly and carefully. Use an aftershave or other skin cream when you are done. Repeating before an appointment or at least every two weeks will keep things smooth and limit the irritation.
Other than your balls and shaft, I just use a hair trimmer to bring the length down to a half inch or so.
