I remember a time when Backpage was never mentioned on the news. I advertised there for a long time and some of my best clients came from that site.

....been doctoring ads that have ultimately let children being trafficked slip through the net they deserve everything they get and more. I have zero sympathy for them and hope their whole site is torpedoed into oblivion. Vermin
Rather than blathering and lying about what they are up to, they should have defended their right to facilitate the right of women to own their bodies and do with them what they will. Yes, I'm being a bit delirious, but I can dream, can't I?
A lot of women in the hobby will be negatively affected if they close, but on the other hand, LE won't be able to plant stings as easily either.
And I agree with those who say that to whatever extent they facilitated trafficking, they should face the music for that.

And once the senate embarrasses them enough and gets them to stay off the radar, then the bp owners will probably just take their money and disappear without even so much as a slap on the wrist. On the other hand, if all those things that were said about them is true, then they basically shot themselves in the leg out of greed when they could have had it made, and they deserve to be held accountable for their actions.
