Big fan of Soderbergh and Sasha Grey, hopefully it's a good match!

As I have said before on the Porn Stars board, I think Sasha Grey has the best ass that has ever been in porn.  There should be a picture of it in the every encyclopedia next to the term "bubble butt".  And she is probably one of the 10 best porn stars ever.

Having said that...

The trailer seems like it might be a little "stereotypical", but we'll see. $2K per hour is not exactly "representative" (kinda going for the jugular, eh, Steven?), but it makes good drama compared to her $125 an hour BF.  I am thinking the movie might be in the vein of Soderbergh's "Bubble"...a small movie with a minor cast that has some sort of twist, but you never quite know with SS.  The guy has been mostly impressing me since Sex Lies and Videotape came out 20 years ago.

Definitely agree with you that it all seems a bit "stereotypical," but I do hold some hope considering that Soderbergh is directing.  I guess we'll see.  I always appreciate a director that likes to try out new things or take risks, even if they aren't so successful.

I've heard through the grapevine that this film actually doesn't have a lot of "on screen sex." Not sure if this will make it or break it for many on here.  Then again, I'm not seeing it for that purpose (there are plenty of Sasha Grey porn online).  I'm more curious on whether or not this will be a good film.

Don't get me wrong, my first visceral reaction to the trailer was Sasha, but that was a pretty cool sounding accompaniment to the drum.
