And I provide them, you can be pretty sure that I'm serious.

So, when I pass your screening, but tell you regretfully that I won't be able to meet for a couple of months because of my schedule, but then send you a gift card to demonstrate that I'm serious (albeit after a fumble on my part), I don't care how popular you are, the least that you can do is be a considerate human being and fucking say "Thank you."

That would fall under the criteria of great customer service, this current climate does not cater to that.  It's on to the next monger that will fork over the dough for her time.

Did the gift card include an apology?

While this is not exactly the same  thing;
I hate being ghosted (right term?) when trying to make an appointment.

I recently made an appointment request , via P411, at a town I was visiting on business.  I waited, and waited, and waited. I sent the lady an email directing her to P411. Nothing.

I made an appointment with different lady (which was a fantastic choice).  A day before the date I see that she finally checked my P411 profile.  No response, no message, no nothing.  If I had not made a back up plan I would have been screwed.

I am very honest in my profile so if a lady does not like what she is reading, she can take a pass. HOWEVER have the courtesy to let me know!  Lie if it is uncomfortable, say you will be out of town.  But respond!

Ghosting in this hobby cuts both ways, for sure.  I consider being ghosted as the OP had, in the the same league. No excuse for it.

a lot of difference between "Thank you" and "Fuck you."  You don't say what you "fumble" was, but to not get any response at all (a tacit "fuck you"), it must have been fairly egregious.  It appears you are not forgiven, the gift card not withstanding.

It is a requirement of P411 that ladies respond to all requests and in a timely manner UNLESS they have a valid reason not to which they have to explain to P411. Small form of recourse but one nonetheless…

If you sent the GC weeks ago, yes, I would be a bit disappointed in the non response, but if you just sent it a day or two ago, then I would give her more time before I jumped to conclusions.

The 'fumble' was a delay, after I had told her I was sending one.  And, of course I apologized.

Not egregious.  See reply to 'cks175' above.

I'm am well aware that there are countless clients who NCNS.  They are assholes   Shit happens.  So I accept that a NS may be unavoidable.  But, there is no excuse for for NC.  When my plans have changed, or I got cold feet (it's happened), I have notified the lady ASAP, with apologies, and usually requested a reschedule.

I do my best to be considerate to everyone and to treat everyone with respect (until they give me a reason not to).  It seems as though that approach may be misguided in this hobby.  But, it's who I am, so I'm going to continue to do it.

That said, I reserve the right to vent, when someone is outright dismissive.

I don't care who fumbled & how they fumbled.  Business is just that.......Business.  The providers don't make $$$MONEY$$$ unless the hobbyists take Our service.

Sorry you did not get a thank you. I always show appreciation for gifts. I am grateful for any gift regardless.

It's a requirement NOT all providers follow.

I've had four p411 appointment requests go ignored so far this year. With another p411 provider ghosting me on the day of the date.

So for their unprofessionalism, I just blocked them. No use in complaining to p411 which could potentially piss off the provider which could potentially make her retaliate by posting a bogus BL about me. Not worth the hassle.

I’m not suggesting they do all follow the rules or that everyone should report them. I’m merely pointing out (for those that don’t know)  that there is a form of recourse to try and prevent this. You are perfectly entitled to deal with it how you wish
