Re: After initial contact...

Need the collective advise of the hobbying community on this.  There is a hotel which serves as the local hobby haven.  Many of the ladies on CL or travelers will frequent this hotel.  Though I am not aware of any LE activity at this site, and I am certain the administration of the hotel is aware of the activities within - and I am also certain LE knows about it.  It is definitely not UTR.

I am loath to visit this locale.  I have been there once, I will never hobby there again.  It gives me the hee-be-gee-bees and I just can't relax.  The question is, what is the best way to handle arrangements with providers who might use this facility?  Do I come out flat in my initial contact and say I will not partake if in hotel x in area y?  Under the 2 call system otherwise I will not find out until an hour or less before, which then leads to all kinds of consternation.

Suggestions?

Avoid the ladies of Craig's List and you will pretty much avoid this problem.

Indiscreet and lazy providers stay in cheap hotels and don't pay attention to their surroundings.  Smart ladies are careful about where they stay and how much their presence is known by hotel staff.

Hotels make money buy renting rooms.  Most of the time they could honestly care less if a provider is staying with them or working out of their property as long as she doesn't attract too much attention or cause any trouble.  In general, the cheaper the hotel is the less they care about the "attracting attention" part...

For the record, any lady that doesn't worry or care about her surroundings and her own security is going to have no problem lying or BS'ing you on the phone about where she is staying.

Its really that simple... get your own hotel room and then schedule outcall to your room.  Yeah it costs you the extra bucks for the room but you solve many problems and if you are as spooked by the 'hot pad' you describe, its well worth it.
Also you can meet the lady in the bar or coffee shop to break the ice and that gives you a final chance to walk away if she isn't what you were expecting.  Much easier to leave her in a public place than it is to get her to leave your room.

In general, the higher end the hotel the better.

That is my experience and the way I play.

I ask the general area the lady will be in (downtown, burbs, etc), in order to figure out when I could meet her.

As long as there are more than a few hotels in town, I can't see why it would be a problem to say: "I would like to meet you, however, if you will be at hotel ABC, that would be a problem." For all she knows, you might work there, or nearby, and not want to be recognized.

I am more comfortable when I pick the hotel. Comfort is everything.

instead of asking where, just say.."I don't visit providers at the XYZ Hotel" and if she says thats where she does her business, then just take a pass on your visit with her.  By YOU saying that, it doesn't give her a red flag with an inquiry to her location and making her think you possibly might be LE.

I don't "go there" with CL - I only see providers who have reviews here.  The locals don't use this hotel, which is part of well known national chain, I think because it is so heavily trafficed.  So it's mostly the travelers who are well reviewed here but I also know the CL ladies use this site.

It's just that I know that at any one given time there are multiple ladies working out of this establishment, and, not to sound too paranoid, it would be the sort of place that LE could just set up a camera and watch if they were so inclined.

Logistically, renting rooms or meeting the provider beforehand is just not plausible.  I guess I'll just have to make it known to providers that I will not go there at the time of initial contact.

BTW, I've spoke up front with some providers before about this, and they have told me other clients want to avoid the location in question - so it's not just me.  I just forgot to mention it to a well reviewed provider last week, and she told me as I was en route and it just kinda got messy.

Thanks,

DC

Smart providers don't do things to draw attention to themselves. Look, in a busy downtown hotel with three or four hundred rooms and a busy lobby there could be a dozen providers staying there and no one will know...or care.  If you put a dozen ladies at the Red Roof down the street and some of them are Craig's List ladies with there non-stop advertising and non-existent screening then you are in for trouble.

I'm not accusing you of being paranoid my friend. I wouldn't go near the place either.  My point is more that the ladies who are using it are not too bright, or not very observant, I don't care how well reviewed they are. Some locations, some cites, some neighborhoods are "hot" and the smart local girls know this.  If a traveling girl hasn't got the savvy to look around and asses her surroundings than I wouldn't go near her.
