Clients have no reason to give providers advice concerning their business. IMO, trying to provide any, even if it appears they asked for it, could possibly be detrimental to said relationship.

Not sure how often this happens; maybe it was just a ham handed attempt at upsetting.

So I get through the screening process with a booker who reps several well reviewed ladies, 2 of whom I'd previously seen. Each of these ladies books at 800 for the hour. Steep, but what can you expect in LA these days.  Ok, I'll bite. Then she tells me it's an additional 200 if the lady comes to me. No thanks. How about incall.  Booker says that it's an extra 200 for the lady to get a room.  So no matter how you cut it, the real price is 1000, isn't it?

Oh but she did have one lady who would see me for a flat 700. Except she wouldn't drive to me because it was further than she was "allowed to drive her leased car".  Didn't realize she was driving from Alaska.

Anyway, I advised the booker to just say the price is 1000 incall or out. No word yet on whether she's taken my advice.

Probably bookers will start taking business advice from clients about the same time providers do ,,, ,

It depends on the relationship between a provider and a client.

If a provider specifically asks for advice, I would, and have, given it if it is something I feel I can add that will help her. I would do so on a case by case basis, however. Some people are very thin skinned, and you are right, in that scenario. Any criticism to that personality type would most likely end in hurt feelings and may hurt the relationship.
But then there are other women who are wide eyed and are like sponges, looking to get different takes on their business protocols, rules, etc. to possibly make improvements. Many of these women feel like they could benefit from a client's perspective and in those cases, if I feel they will take the advice constructively, I gladly give it for it may help her bottom line financially or in some other capacity.

I obviously don't expect this booker to take my advice. Last year I suggested a massage provider have a couple of clean towels in her place after she administers a massage with 10w40 oil. The response on this board was a bitch-slapping by another provider.
On the other hand I have no intention of ever returning to that  booker. There are plenty of hot women in LA.

Sounds like she's just overcharging and not reputable.  Expect another round of negotiation once you arrive with very limited service.  Hard Pass.  I hope you didn't give them any personal information like a driver's license for screening.

As a provider, it's so important to let your clients know your rates and not upsell. Especially if it's an extra charge either way. Maybe because it's an agency, you're more likely to be charged for extra things.

I have set prices for incalls and set prices for outcalls, pretty straight forward. I charge more for incalls because it requires me to book a room.

Tried to book a different lady just yesterday. Similar problem. Her ad said 800 but in the fine print there's a 90 minute minimum. So your rate is really 1200 isn't it?

To make matters funnier it turned out to be the same booker. At least this time she said she would "consider" my suggestion that the lady just say up front that a date is 1200.
