Let's look at some of the noteworthy trolls we have had here over the years, BBFS, Asscalade, Ridgetucky, and more currently MAC and OTM are a few that come to mind. In virtually every case they were pretty much just pulling our legs with their posts, trying (and usually succeeding) in getting a rise out of the stupid people. The same thing cannot be said about the fatty twins, as you so accurately point out, they aren't putting us on at all, they simply can't post anything smarter because they just don't have the mental capacity to do so. lol Good call.
BTW in the case of MAC, I don't think he is "pulling our leg" either, I think he really is that angry and that bitter, which means that although he retains his troll status, the fact that he actually believes the dumb shit he posts, and the fact that he is a one trick pony, does make him most likely the dumbest troll on the board, with your distinction of course that being the dumbest troll does not make him the dumbest poster.
One last comment on the subject, a true troll is never angry, he makes outrageous statements and makes others angry. Do you think MAC really fits that mold? I get the feeling he is every bit as angry and bitter as he sounds. Does that put his "troll status" at risk too?

A troll makes outrageous (even if true) statements that elicits predictable outrage from the "sensitive types" That's what you do on a rather regular basis.
