Gents - if you experience erection loss after suiting up or with a change of positions a larger and / or more thinnner condom may be your answer.....

I have low bloodpressure and a moderately thick crank, so I have found that using magnum sized condoms make a very big positive difference for me in terms of maintaining an erection.

From discussions I've had with quite a few other hobbyists, the magnum sized condoms often relieve such issues as losing erections in orthostasis (going from lying to standing or kneeling or even mishionary positions) in gents who have blood pressure or other issues, even if they do not
think of themselves as requiring a magnum sized condom.

In fact, a larger and / or thinner condom should be the first step when any gent is experiencing loss of erection after suiting up....  a condom with some extra room, especially headroom, is also just the ticket for the uncircumcised gent.

I have been experimenting with the various offerings available in near magnum size, and am hereby reporting my results with the offerings I have found. If others would like to add their experiences and / or if they have found other condom choices of interest I would appreciate if you would add to this post.

I especially would like to find a *thin* near magnum sized *unlubricated* condom.....

My standby for a while had been the Trojan Magnum Thin. The regular magnums are made of such heavy material that they are very insensitive. The thin version is only .0022 thick, the same as the Kimono

Trojan Magnum Thin Specs:
Head Width:     2.5"
Shaft Width:   2.25"
Base Width:   2"
Length:   8.12"
Thickness:   0.0025"
Lubrication:   Water Based

Kimono MicroThin

Head Width:     2.34"
Shaft Width:   2.05"
Base Width:   2.05"
Length:   7.68"
Thickness:   0.0022"
Lubrication:   Silicone
Special Features:   Reservoir Tip

I have personally found the Kimono MicroThin to feel much more restrictive than the Trojan Magnum Thin....

Two condoms I have found that work well for me and are replacing the Trojan Magnum Thin in my kit:

Vivid Large Condom

Head Width:     2.25"
Shaft Width:   2.25"
Base Width:   2"
Length:   8"
Thickness:   0.0019"
Lubrication:   Water Based
Special Features: Reservoir Tip

I really like the feel of this condom. It is noticably more sensitive than the Trojan Magnum Thin. Currently my fav.

Bravo Wicked Thin Large

Head Width:     2.16"
Shaft Width:   2.16"
Base Width :   2.16"
Length:   8.4"
Thickness:   0.00018"
Lubrication:   Water based
Special Features : Reservoir Tip

This Bravo Wicked Thin is pretty amazing. For one thing it has Vanilla scented lube - which I am told still tastes like lube - shame its not Vanilla flavored. Though it is a little smaller in diamter compared to the Vivid Large, it does not
feel restrictive, I suppose because it is 0.00001 thinner and the material gives / stretches very easily

Finding a few condoms that work for a particular gent is not going to accomplish anything if the provider will not let you use it.

I can understand wanting to inspect the condom for date and the condition of the foil wrapper.

However

Some ladies either will not let a gent use those he brings

or

will require that they be in an unopened box.

Prob is many condoms do not come in a box at all.....

So

Ladies - what is your opinion / policy on the use of client provided condoms?

Thanks

GTM

I can't tell you how often the ladies I have seen do not have any magnum sized condom. Sometimes not a thinner type either. I appreciate your thoroughness.
And thanks as well for the PSA.

Like Raegan, I have several different types and sizes.  Not as many as she has, but a variety of sorts.  I got some great ideas from her post of other ones I need to add to my collection.  Thanks Raegan!

As for a client bringing their own condom;  I allow a couple of my regular clients to bring their own condoms.  Of course, they also bring the package and it is set on the table for me to see.  That's one reason I started carrying more of a variety.  Like I said, after reading this thread, I will add more types.

This has been an informative thread. Thank you GTM!

Hugs, Betty xoxo

I keep a wide selection and if I don't have a favorite on hand will make sure to stock it for future visits if mentioned.

The foil can still be in great condition... yet the condom may have been left in the glove box of a hot car for a week...  I don't know where it's been.  There are many factors that can affect the effectiveness of the latex that are not visible. I insist on providing my own.

What if a guy brings them in a box with a receipt showing they were just purchased within the past hour?

Since our contacting a woman is always supposed to be about theit 'time' and nothing sexually related, a guy like myself who is more girthy has gotten burned more than once by seeing a provider's selection limited to condom variety based on length, lube, or thinness.

for a variety of reasons, of which I wish we had heard more, many providers are not open to the issue of client provided condoms.

There is no practical way to discuss this before a date, in keeping with the need to avoid sex discussions when contacting a lady

We merely have to take a chance. Once we've seen the lady we know what her policy will be, whether it will work for us.

If not, we are not a good match and its time to move on.

BTW younger girls seem to be a lot more flexible with respct to condom variety and allowing the gent to provide their own FWIW. I know this is a generalization but it fits my experience.

Aside of that,

As I mentioned if someone has special request I stock them.  No, you cannot ask in advance of meeting.  Sorry.

I can certainly understand that it may be an inconvenience sometimes.  For example one of my friends had a special request for FC's.  No problem!  Well, we needed three and only had two... it changed the game just a bit.  You know what?  We still found plenty of ways to enjoy ourselves.
