Toothpaste: squeeze in the middle or roll from the bottom?

the newer improved toothpaste "not-tubes"

They stand on the counter..upside down with the paste ready to

explode

out of the cap

Always Ready
No mess

But squeeze in the middle please

The only rolling is on the part of the Charmin

Bad habit of mine.   I practice my karate strikes on the tube.  causes problems with the wife and cleaning up!

FWIW, in the middle until the tube is near empty then roll the end.

The stuff tends to coagulate in the middle and then getting the stuff at the end becomes near impossible.

Always squeeze from the end and roll up the spent portion so that it doesn't travel back down.

And remember, the tube is never really empty, if you think about it.

(We are talking toothpaste here, right?)
