I was watching the finale of "So You Think You Can Dance" the other night and at the end of one of the dances the pair kissed. As the couple stood up to accept the applause of the audience I noticed the girl wipe her mouth. I assume the guy was a little sloppy.

The thought came to mind in some reviews the author will comment she is a really great kisser, or she can really kiss. Well what makes a kiss really great?

Everyone kisses differently and, obviously, we all think we know how to kiss. I mean, who would want to admit that they couldn't kiss well, right?

Unfortunately, even though I love to kiss, there are many who are horrible at it.  Things that turn me on in a kiss:

1)  Slow movement following each other's rhythm, starting out softly and progressing into a deeper, more romantic kiss.

Kisses that totally turn me off:

1)  Guys who stick their tongue all the way down your throat. Those men with full lips and especially big teeth:  Please don't open your mouths so wide. It's sloppy and gross. You don't have to be an alligator and devour me. :)

2)  Guys who wiggle their tongue like a lizard. It's impossible to follow. It's more like work than romance, and there's nothing sexy about it . . . period. Kissing the face is different than oral sex, so don't be confused between the two of them.

3)  Guys who don't turn their head to kiss. I don't want to kiss your nose. I want to envelop your lips, especially if our noses are a little on the large size. And, don't get me wrong, I love a man with a big nose, but turn your head.
