A Feel-Good Story: This Guy Is Such A Role Model And Upstanding Citizen....

In Los Angeles, police are looking for a guy who cut in line at McDonald's. It wasn't the cutting in line they are after him for, though.

After cutting in line and denying that he had, he got so upset at the 16 year old girl who called him on his rude behavior that he proceeded to beat her down in front of her friend and her five year old niece in addition to the two young boys that he was there with.

Shockingly he fled the scene...and without the Mickey D's he was so obviously craving.

What a wonderful role model he is for those two boys.

Cut in line in front of two teenagers and a child and feel no guilt.

Lie about what you did.

Verbally abuse anyone who dares calls you on your rudeness.

And then in the pièce de résistance,  you, a grown ass man, sucker-punch and beat up a teenage girl and then run away.

And how was your week?

Tonight I have to go mediate grown people acting like kindergartners.  Argh.

gone somewhat permisive, obnoxious, rude, etc. in the last 10 years.  There are parts of this great country where this has not occured as quickly as others; but, all-in-all, conduct and treatment of others has gone downhill.

Now we know that in a fast food restaurant in LA a bully beat a woman and then ran away. That's all we know. Is there more to this story? We may never know.

My thoughts exactly, this type of societal coarseness started in the 90s.

saturday night... it is truly freightening... All too often, I've gone into a bar, tavern, or dining establishment... and either been accidentally bumped or I've accidentally bumped someone... and in those instances occasionally the other person in the "Bump" has gone on and on - long after I've said sorry - and moved on.

Are we so unimportant that the most important battle we have to win, is the extraction of what we deem an appropriate apology or blood from an innocent offendee?
