How does one get into the porn industry?I'm 21 and have been trying for the past 3 years to get in.I send the front back and face shots they request.I even traveled to California a couple of times and they never seem to call me back.How does one get into the porn industry?

But I would say, develop a business plan, stick to it and apply it to what you want to accomplish. Have a plan, a back up plan and explore as many avenues as possible. With anything you plan to make lucrative, you will have to initially invest your own start up money. Here are a couple of suggestions, not in any order.

1) Invest in a camera or webcam with good quality, make your own porn and sell them online or become a webcam girl.
2) Pm or email a porn star and ask for advice.
3) Get with a reputable agency and network.
4) Keep doing what your doing, apply to ads that inquire about girls wanting to do porn.
5) Take the plunge, if it's what you really want, pack your bags, move to SFV and grind.

Note: Make sure that is really what you want to do, a picture is worth a thousand words, but video will live on forever. Your thought process at 21 may not be the same at 31. You have to ask yourself, do I want my kids searching online and seeing mommy doing you know what

I got in the porn industry about 10 years ago before it was inundated by free sites all over the internet. Those free sites have really changed the industry and it's not as easy to get in to get paid for doing porn. I got in by emailing a bunch of porn producers and directors. AVN puts out a Industry Directory and it has telephone numbers and email addresses. Another option is to go to porn sites that produce porn, I had several hire me early on. Get in touch with Brazzers or Bang Bros, you should be able to google there info. Send them nude pictures so they can see if your type is what they are interested in.
A couple of years ago I tried to get back in the porn industry and my friend who is a bigger name porn star told me it's not really possible anymore to get paid for porn. The industry has changed. But you can try emailing the porn studios on the list below.

Doing so probably won't get you in the industry, but we could record it - market it, and call it porn.

A few years ago, it came out that a beauty pageant winner (who was also a gymnast, I believe) had done one porn video. It hit the news immediately and they pulled her crown almost before it hit her head! Out of curiosity, I checked out the now-viral video and I thought she was very pretty and that the video was very good (when judged as porn; the plot was weak and character development was minimal). There was also a pre-pageant interview video in which the porn maker - who didn't know she going to win the state pageant - said she wouldn't be getting a call back because she lacked the qualities he thought people wanted in porn. (It was good enough for me!) She went on to get offers from a bunch of casinos and clubs to be a non-porn, non-stripper celebrity hostess - greeter. Why wasn't she good enough to continue? No idea.

TER has a Porn Star AD board (last column, near the bottom). Check out their videos and then maybe contact some of the starlets who seem to match your interests and ask for advice?

The porn industry is extremely saturated, which is why so many porn stars are turning to escorting.  If you want to do porn, I would suggest doing your own webcam work.  Find some computer-savvy friends who can help you get started.  If you're successful enough, you may be able to break in to mainstream porn.  Kinda like Justin Bieber, he got so many "likes" on Youtube that the recording industry started to pay attention.  OK, now someone please shoot me for mentioning girl Bieber...
