Article on NYTimes. Suffice it to say that I'm petrified for the next generation being prepped for social life. Communication is always important, but ask for consent every few minutes? What a mood killer.

In the article it states that there was a discussion about how to communicate without being awkward  One boy came up with this:  "You good?"  Which drew nods of approval from the whole group.  The adults are the ones overthinking it.

Just outlaw all sex EXCEPT P4P.

Don't applaud, just throw money.

Much of this training is meant to benefit constituencies other than the kids getting it. When you took sex education, how seriously did you take it as a student? Not so seriously, and nor do these students. Most already know everything they need to know about sex, or at least they think so.

The university is offering it to some degree to minimize legal liability, and to some degree to please an entire constituency (parents, some feminists, religious folks, etc.) who really do not want the boys and girls fucking each other, but if they must, let's make sure to set ground rules that will discourage them.

This is the hypocrisy of America today. Just remember that a gun is safe, but a dick is a dangerous weapon and you know all you need to know.

It is sort of like corporate ethics seminars.

They go over all the various nefarious business practices, not to dissuade you from applying them where efficacious, but rather to protect the company's ass if you get caught.

Such is life
