Ladies, ever have an experience where your date who shows up to meet with you is someone you know and you had no clue???  Maybe it was a cousin, or a friend of your brother's or something along those lines?  Maybe it was your brother... yeesh, that would be scary!

How about you guys?  Ever show up to a date and find out it's your co-worker or your sister's best friend you always wanted to tag???

I've had the same situation happen backwards once or twice

A gent books an appointment, shows up, is nice, courteous and amazingly amorous... and then I show up to work the next morning and find myself staring at a clothed version of the man I was with the night before! Of course, awkward situations ensue... So far I've been lucky and the embarrassing moments just result in spicier return visits once the job is done.

exactly. if you have many interests outside work and family it is much more likely to happen. screening can cover only so much. it can't cover your complete social network.
