In my area we have high priced providers passing through all the time in the $1000 to $2000 range per hour compared to solid local girls who are priced in the $400 to $ 600 range. I have always passed by the high priced girls without contact due to fear of pissing them off. Has anyone asked a hot $800 per hour girl if she would be ok with $600. What about the ones asking for $ 1000 per hour for less ? Pre covid this was very normal. not so sure now ? What are your thoughts ? For reference you can get a Blonde Ex porn star who will blow your mind for $ 500 per hour in my area if you schedule in advance. Do you guys make an offer or just move on to someone more reasonable  ?

If a provider is advertising a certain rate, that means that's what they charge for their time. If they're not getting any bookings and desperately need the money, they'll lower their rates or find another way to pay their bills. What makes you think it's appropriate to negotiate when you could just go find someone else in your price range? This is not a pawn shop.

1.  Why start out communications on a sour note.  She is either going to get pissed and either ignore you or tell you to get lost.  If I put myself in her shoes I would simply ghost and block.  
2.  It’s insulting.  Period.  
3. Even in the unlikely event that she does negotiate her rates the odds are against you that it will not be a good to great session.

I’m aware some clients are in a better position to book high end or extended sessions, meanwhile others have a budget. In either case I’m always flattered a gentleman wants to spend his hard earned money on me. Can you negotiate? Sure (I’m already foreseeing the comments giving you the ok), but should you? NO!! Just bc you can, doesn’t mean you should. Why not save up and reach out later? A provider may even lower their rate, or post a discounted session to fill a tour or last min cancellation. Which IS acceptable vs unwarranted haggling.

I think there’s a big difference between negotiating and trying to get champagne service on a tap water budget.
Do I ever make little exceptions? Sure. For established favorites who are easy, respectful, fun, and drama free, absolutely. That kind of chemistry is worth something to me too.
Have I ever entertained a creative trade or a unique situation? Yes, back in the good old days, when the offer actually made sense and wasn’t just “I want everything you offer, but cheaper.”
But asking a new lady to provide the full experience for less just because you asked nicely? That’s not really negotiation. That’s bargain hunting in the wrong boutique.
I’m never offended by someone choosing what fits their budget. I just think the sweetest answer is usually to book the lady whose rate already feels comfortable, and let the higher priced ladies be adored by the gentlemen they were meant for.

Remember that the person that you are negotiating with is about to give you a service that you want them to be in a good mood for.  If you negotiate with them and get a good price, they may not be that interested in spending time with you.  

There’s a lot of other things I could say but I’m gonna leave it at. It’s just tacky.

I refrained from calling a pornstar I’d see because of her high asking price. One week night, I thought I’d call her to see what her actual rate was as sometimes they may lower their rate on a slow night, if they like your picture, and you’re respectful on the call.  

I feel like haggling is gonna increase the odds that the session ends up being a dud. I'd rather pay the quoted rate (if I can afford it) and have a good time than haggle her down and deal with her giving an uninspired performance.

Negotiating a posted rate is bad form. What I have done, with some success, is to make an offer when the posted rate is “x” per hour or “2x” for two hours. And nothing  stated for longer dates. For example, if a provider has an ad that list 1hour at $500, and 2 hours at $1000, I have sent a note saying “I’d love to book 2 hours at $1000, but was wondering if you’d like to schedule a 3 hour date for $1200?”  Note that I only go this if 3 hour rate is not posted AND I make it clear that I will be booking 2 hours if my offer does not work for them. Many times, scheduling permitting, they accept. Each time, if it doesn’t, I make sure to follow thru with my desire to book 2 hours. Don’t use that promise and then back off…bad form. Never once has a companion been offended by this. Just my .02 worth. Anyone else done something like this? Any providers find this acceptable or unacceptable?

For what its worth I have NEVER asked a provider to take less than her advertised price. I was simply asking if anyone else did. I am sure this will set off additional negative comments. But I think its a valid point in this discussion. Happy 4th to everyone.

Good analogy. Imagine if you went into your office and your manager called you in to tell you your coworker was making less than you (maybe less experienced, less educated, less seniority), so he would like you to take a pay cut.  How well would that go over?  Would you feel good about the interaction?  Valued and appreciated?  

Tree trimmer comes to your house /  yard and gives you a bid of $1000 to take down a tree and clean up.
You offer $800 cash and at that point he gets $800 or zero.

He’s a good tree trimmer and reputable. Anyone else of his caliber charges his rates or more. Many hire him. He’s not strapped for work. Others are paying his rates. He knows if he takes $800 he risks this getting out. What’s on the line is not just losing $200. It’s losing thousands because he fears everyone else will want a better deal. They may even feel they too can haggle his price. And besides all this, he knows his rate is fair and what his services are worth. He stands firm. So, either you pay $1000 or find someone less qualified and risk having a shitty job done over $200.

Negotiation is an undetrated part of business it seems.  

In my experience most do negotiate on longer term experiences. I would never try on something short duration.

The difference here is that you saw the girl at her agency rate first, then after meeting got her personal number. So you've established a relationship, presumably proved that you are trustworthy and generous in a different way, and now have more of a sugar/patron arrangement.

This is one of those topics that taboo for some and daily bread for some others. Personally I have never bothered, if I am not happy with the list price I just look elsewhere. But that is also something of the US centric view as we're not really a negotiating culture in most market transactions (cars an exception and that seems to be diminishing). Other places in the world it is more expected.

Though I'm not sure if his "I always negotiate" stance was just to stir shit up.

IMO there’s nothing wrong with what you’ve described here. I’ve done basically the same thing a time or two except I don’t bring it up until after I’ve met her. I think it’s fine to do it your way as long as you introduce yourself in the email and ask respectfully, which it sounds like you do. For me, I think some ladies don’t post rates for longer than a couple hours because that’s a long damn time to spend with someone who gets under your skin, so that’s not available to people they haven’t met yet. I don’t really want to try for over two hours on a first meet myself anyway, but that’s just me.  

I see no issue with asking someone who raised her rate, that I've met with within the last year, if she'll grandfather it for me.

That has that on her ad and she has my attention then I’ll reach out and ask. I guess depending on time and day they’ll usually negotiate with you. I Contacted a young lady recently in Vegas who had that “Text For Rate” on her ad. I reached out to her, was too rich for my blood.  But I guess because of the time I had wanted to meet,she came back with a “How about this, does that work?” And it did. So she kinda negotiated with me..no? Oh… she was fun.
And off subject, meeting and getting with a CG in Vegas is all about negotiating. It’s kinda fun in a way , late night, hanging at the bar yacking away

I prefer when providers have a set rate on their ad so it makes life easy. I never enjoy having to talk about rates or even services, I wanna know what I'm getting and for how much before even contacting the girl. Saves everyone time.
